What Are Your Unpopular Opinions In Wynncraft?

I feel like this is only a problem when A. The homage is completely in your face, and B. It’s only there for the sake of a pop culture reference. Lord of the Clock is guilty of both of these, with the quest following the general events of LOTR, and since almost everyone knows the story and characters of LOTR, it was very obvious. It wasn’t even a good quest, it was only there for the media reference. Removing it was for the best. There’s also the Harry Potter homage in Studying the Corrupt where the three mages are named Pottur, Dumble, and Durr. The actual quest has nothing to do with Harry Potter other than sorcery and mages. If the homage is both subtle and makes even a little bit of sense, like Lake Gylia being a homage to Lake Hylia from Zelda, then it’s okay in my book.

If that's a reference to another media, I wasn't aware of it. I just found the title funny; at first I just referenced it in Death's Manor, then it became a bit of a running gag to mention with characters who have terrible taste in books(Hilda, Ariodo).

 

1. The Frost bitten quest needs an update.
2. Wynncraft is the only great non-pvp based server (That I have seen)
3. For what the server has to offer, Wynncraft should have more players.
4. Csst should not be nerfed to the ground.
5. Haveing a meme channel on a minecraft discord server is not the greatest of all ideas.
6.The developers need more credit for their work.
7. Flamethrower should be nerfed a little regarding hit boxes.
8. Tank archers kinda sorta work.
9. Archer is the best class in the game
10. This last one is less of an opinion and more of a fact: The next update is going to be epic.

 

The daily reward should give more emeralds. / Earning emeralds for new players should be easier.
Fruma is where CraftedMovie's videos take place.
Empire Builder is the best wand.

I would agree, but there's probably a technical reason for the cap (like not glitching out when you run onto a slab perhaps).

IDK how unpopular these opinions are, but...

Quests
-The quests with prerequisite quests were the ones I enjoyed the most (Taproot and the Eltom ones).
-Quest helmets suck cause you can't get rid of them. The breathing helmet 2 quest solved this problem by introducing a quest that replaces the in-disposable helm with a regular one, and should be the standard for all other quests with quest helmets.

Economy
-I don't think mobs should drop emeralds (they should have merchants in town who buy the drops).
-The Seavale reef shouldn't give emeralds as a reward, in fact, the only sources for emeralds should be quests, chests and dungeons.
-Mythics should be bad. Their value should come from memability and rarity, not from utility.
-Unrelated, but that meme I posted about mythics a while ago was just a joke. Sorry for all the fighting it caused :(

Content
-There needs to be high level stuff that requires a group of people to do, like guild raids, where you can't solo it because to enter you need to be in a party with guild members
-There needs to be more stuff for guilds to do in general. Maybe guild PVP wars, where two guilds fight each other and there's a score counter or something. No idea how this would work, but just an idea.

Random Other Stuff
-There should be a second bank where you can only store set items and collectables to give a reason to collect them.
-Personally, I want more collectables (like the really expensive LI necklace, but for dungeons). They shouldn't be rare drops, instead, they should show off achievements.
-I don't want food in the game. My inventory gets full, as is, and skill pots are a good enough buff. If skill pots got replaced by food, that would be cool, but as is, food just seams redundant.

TL;DR I love the game but it needs more stuff :P

 

- Lots of lower tier cosmetics are better than Black Market.

- Pirate Cove is a better grinding spot than Ancient Nemract.

- Mob grinding is fun.

- Uniques can be useful.

- ToA was a good quest.

Oh ToA is ok. Not my favorite, but the reward is decent. I haven’t really heard people complain about it, at least compared to other quests.

 

True. I'd thought people just didn't like just killing quests though. Might've been thinking of fetch quests at the time instead.

I don't do csst too often tbh. It just gets done so fast that it counts up. If it makes you feel better, I'm doing a level 100 run with kills only and no deaths. Plus, 136 is next to nothing compared to others.

 

The idea was for a player check and a guild check, not just a guild check.
I also think you misunderstood what I meant by solo. I wasn't saying that you couldn't in theory solo it, I'm just saying that you shouldn't be allowed to. I don't think team based stuff should be difficult, I think it should be fun.

i agree

(opinion) but i somehow find 40-68 to be the absolute worst things ever, there have been so many classes at that level that i have deleted. the safespot camping at wolves is more efficient but is so boring.

if one good thing came out of the quest gap for me, it'd be the variety it added to my leveling experience at level 90s. it made each higher level quest so much more satisfying (woah actual xp gain), added opportunities for more gameplay variety (fallen factory, some discoveries, running around corkus, mob grinding)

unless youre talking about them being chest drops thus making them more common in t3 and t4 chests than other mythics, then i totally agree.
