Guess I should've expected people to vote for Professional Work, given that it's the only quest without any cutscenes lol

Oh, thank you for pointing out my typo! I saw a post in the shoutbox yesterday that said the quest was named after ct manager fey, so that's probably what I was thinking of.

NGL, killing Aledar again is half the reason I voted for TIG. That said it does feel a bit derivative of AJB, and including Aledar and Tasim really just rubbed that in.

I really liked the Fruman Fae, idk why. It just had a nice simple old Wynncraft vibe while sill having newer mechanics. I also like having a quest that's more lore heavy. Also also it was like the only quest to not have a Compulsory Gavel Fruma Miniboss™.

Chrysalis II was pretty good, though I agree with some of the criticisms here. Also the third phase with the AoE spam is basically impossible if you're lagging so I had to wait like 2 weeks for the crowds to die down before I could do it. Raising the player cap was a mistake, change my mind.

Speaking of which, the hardest quest: getting onto a server. Wish I'd taken a screenshot, one time I was 69th in line. Also, I dunno how many people saw it because of auto join, but they (accidentally) brought back lobby pvp for a while, so at least we had that until it got patched. That sweet pre-Gavel nostalgia. Salted plz bring back lobby pvp.

I haven't really tried out either of the new classes (got both like level ~20 to unlock spells and that's it) but alchemist seems a little weak. I think the base defense should have been a bit higher. Right now I think it's 50% (?), which for such a short-ranged class feels really bad.

Also, no one's talking about the dungeons or raids. I don't really have much today about RC since I straight up couldn't fight the Fruman queen cuz lag, but TEB was really good. I think the boss needs a bit of a buff though; I was able to face tank it with my (rainbow thunder) mage and didn't even need to spam heal or anything. As far as dungeons, I haven't tried FR since it got patched but it seemed nice, although I was obviously only able to get to the third room and had to /kill. RB felt like a prequel to the RC raid, change my mind.

Overall, cool update, love most of the new stuff although it does feel like a few areas got rushed. Also, props to the item team for managing to make old endgame stuff still competitive but letting the new items still be worth getting.

One Human Army could have been a really good quest but the multiple references to 'there is no war in the fruman walls' completely undercut the serious tone the quest was going for

Honestly, Behind Enemy Lines was the only good part of this update. Even just in terms of quests, everything else has just awful writing and mediocre design at best. I have half a mind to storm down to Wynncraft headquarters and join the content team myself at this point.
Behind Enemy Lines suffered from the same problem as the rest of this update (namely, someone decided that each quest needed about thirty characters), but at least the writing's killer and the bossfights are actually fun.

I have to disagree, Behind Enemy Lines may be good for those of us who have plenty of time on our hands, but dying to the boss OVER AND OVER AGAIN, even when they removed soulpoints (baruch hashem), we have to:Respawn in traitors marsh, talk to the guy, get the disguise AGAIN, do the miniquest, go through the unskippable cutscene, and each stage is 10 minutes so even if you get sent back to the last stage like you should (and guess how often that system works PERFECTLY without ANY bugs), it takes a while to GET to the boss fight, and more likely than not, you die to a bug with the parkour over the electric eels pit, so you have to start OVER. For those players who don't have so much time to play, we might not be able to finish in a reasonable amount of time. That said, Chrysalis II is on the level of Dwarves and Doguns part 5, if not BETTER!

First off, Behind Enemy Lines is more than just a bossfight. The quest itself, as you know, is about as long as the entire RoL questline, and condensing it into just the bossfight at the end is ridiculous.
(I'm really glad that they're making these longer quests - it means that they can actually fit more character growth and writing and scenes into individual quests, and we don't just flit between locations and conflicts and characters.)
The arcs that these characters go on, and the incredible interpersonal dymanics between them, the dialogue - the writing for this quest is so good that I struggle to see how the same team that wrote this also wrote the Chrysalis questline.
This quest also has incredible builds, definitely some of the best in-game (even Chrysalis fans won't dispute this one), and all in all is just a moving, incredibly-written, and highly entertaining quest.
As for the bossfight - it sounds like you activated a Save Point way back in the quest. There are at LEAST two Save Points between the location you described and the fight.

Chrysalis was honestly garbage. The Fruman Queen having an army of specialized Kai Shi made with Bob genetomagic? That just felt like the devs trying to artificially raise the stakes in a very ridiculous and almost childish way. And then it’s revealed that the interesting social dynamics between the Fruman people and the elite aren’t actually political commentary but just “darkness got in their minds?”
When the Fruman Queen emerged as the Beast of War Ascendant, that was just way too much. The new raid is nice though, I guess.

obv a great quest, everything was awesome tho lore was a bit wonky
    2. One Human Army
this was just brilliant storytelling although the gameplay was somewhat boring
    1. (unofficial name) Fruma Mystery
nobody has talked about the mystery yet??? its really fun and has a prize of 10 stx for the first person to complete it (my team may or may not have passed stage 4 ) also a tip the boss in stage 2 can be cheesed bc the door on the other end closes slow enough that an electromage grapple can reach behind it and skip the boss (plz don't patch Salted)
