I disagree with you. It is way too difficult. I think this boss would have been completely fine if it was optional, like all the other boss altars. I like a good challenging boss fight if I can choose to do it. Many people at level 57 don’t care much about their gear so they die very quickly. I can guarantee you many players have ragequit because of that boss. Most level 57’s don’t want to skip the quest and grind either. I understand the quests is to teach players about boss altars but why would anyone want to do them when their first impression is that they’re almost impossible to beat?

It's not too hard at level 57 if you know what to do and bring with you.

Get a weapon that has decent air/fire damage and apply some of the other element's powders to it if necessary.
Finish off the minions, which are weak to fire. These minions will heal the chief.
Fire off lots of spells on the main boss, which is weak to air. Without his minions, he cannot heal quickly.
Make sure that you have a decent amount of health potions. Do not be afraid to buy skill boost potions and mana potions.

If done right, the boss altar should be quite easy.

I think this is many of the things Wynn has improved on over the years; When Wynn first started, the quests were (mostly) boring/tedious and insignificant. Quests were very simple, if they were puzzles at all, it would be finding a code, or throwing items into places (carpet in house of Twain, and stairs in wynnex site a)

Then, Gavel came along. The quests became more fun, but insignificant. Most of them felt like filler quests, since not much story actually happens in them. Take “The Bigger Picture” for example, a fun but forgettable quest. It’s basically about helping a gnome getting these rat-like creatures out of his house, with the quest artificially extended by having you shrink, and figuring out where to go. We don’t learn anything about these gnomes, or these rat-like creatures, so it’s not important at all.

Then, skip to a year and a half later, and we got Corkus. (I know gameplay update came first, but the quests that came with the update were similar to Gavel’s quests, except for The Hidden City) Anyway, Corkus was the first break from the “do my chores for me” style. In Envoy and Mixed Feelings, there’s no tasks that you are immediately given. Mixed feelings started with you relaxing at the bar....until you drink a contaminated beverage that makes you go psycho. It also has a good story, knowing how some Corkians don’t welcome outsiders, sort of like the Avos. Envoy was similar, you were originally just supposed to take a vacation to Corkus, and then you ended up dealing with the mechs. It’s also very significant in the lore, since your deeds will be able to save Corkus from the mechs.

The DnD quests were interesting. Most of them involved you helping someone do something, but there’s a difference between them and the first Gavel quests: they’re significant in the lore. The dungeon quest was meant to introduce you to the bosses, which you would learn more about while doing the dungeon. It was a neat concept that should have been added when the revamped dungeons were first released.

You're just proving my point. What you said would take a lot of time to prepare and execute as well as needing pretty good knowledge of the game. As Wynncraft currently is a game that makes you progress pretty fast not a lot of people will know this. When I was 57 I had no idea about skill pots, didn't care about elements and that made this boss difficult. It's a great end game boss but not a "mandatory" level 57 boss, think LI and Qira.

Tribal Sanctuary is nowhere close to an endgame boss, for it is not difficult to beat at level 57. Elements are very easy to deal with; if you see that a mob is weak to fire damage, you really should use fire damage. That's common sense. You should have a general understanding of elements before you hit level 30, and you probably found skill potions (completely optional in Tribal Sanctuary) in chests or the potion shop sometime or another.

You're expected to have generally learned about elements by Lv 40, as that's about the point in the game where enemies with elemental affinities start to become more and more common. Heck, you're even given a tutorial quest on it early on in the game, and if you've done the Ice Barrows dungeon you should know how important element weaknesses can be. Plus, as stated, it's only slightly more difficult than a normal boss at that level in terms of its stats.
Now, let's look at endgame however. At endgame, most players have around 10000 health on average, while bosses deal about 1800 damage average. This is also 5-6 hits, so this is right about where it should be in terms of the game's plan.

The boss always Charges towards you, never away, so that statement about Charge making it difficult to catch is just incorrect, plus Assassin has amazing spells. In addition, how can he cast Multihits thrice in five seconds? His timers for the Multihits are either 6 or 10 seconds. Even assuming minimum times on the variations, that's 5.4 or 9 seconds. Also, 1300 health given your player-health comparison is about a third, and that's about as much as a potion heals you for at that level.

The Charge/Multihits combo is definitely the most dangerous thing about the boss, but since you have about two seconds of warning anyways, you have plenty of time to get out of the way. It's clearly telegraphed, and this is meant to be the toughest thing about him anyways. I see nothing unfair.

Also, Slykaar is 100% a wimp. He is not challenging in the slightest.

Well once again, the healers are incapable of attacking, and their low health combined with their heals mean they're healing him for significantly less than you're stating. Sure there's a lot of them, but again fire damage utterly destroys them, which means all classes except Assassin can just use specific spells to get them out of the way; they don't even need to bring a specific weapon to the battle.

The Tribe Zombie minions are exactly the same as they are outside of the Altar; you can find them in some caves. They're also a bit stronger than a normal enemy, having about twice the health of normal, but this still only gives them about 2000 health. That's still a cinch to handle, whether there's one or eight(the max) of them in the arena. The life and mana steal was an aside point rather than a main thing.

Once you learn how the boss behaves, he becomes quite easy. This is meant to be a bit tougher than usual, as a wake-up call. This is about the point in the game where we start to increase the difficulty as a whole anyways(Slykaar notwithstanding), so again, I restate my point that the boss isn't difficult...it's an "idiot killer" to borrow a term. It's easy once you know what to do, but blindly running in and expecting to win will get you killed.

From my experience, there's no reason for this boss to be so hard. But if I didn't know that it was already weaker than it was supposed to be, I'd say it needed a nerf too. There's something about this boss fight that gives me so much trouble, even when I'm running rainbow. I've gone in with the best build I can make at level 57 and still lost, and I'd go as far to say that the jungle altar is the toughest boss I've beaten solo (when you take fighting them at level into account.) I don't know why it's so hard.
I've honestly given up at this point, whenever I need to do that fight I go do it on a higher level class and put the drops in my bank just to avoid it. It's too difficult to be worth attempting to beat at level and losing 5 times.

I remember that boss was hell on my first playthrough of the game, but whenever I make a new class, I always managed to kill it easily with this build: https://wynndata.tk/s/KZA7e0
For weapons, I just used the best thunder weapons around that level, so that would be Glare/Hashr Claw/Thunderbolt/Fierce Thunder
