What archetype are you guys using/gonna use for your next class?

I play it too, quite fun and you can constantly switch hands to cancel totem quickly

i started a second class around the 90s to the 100s when quests started slowing and inbetween quests you had to pop the occasional dungeon, this was somewhat tedious so to take a break i went back to the beginning to start a new class.

i also started two new classes once 2.0 came out, one to test warrior and one shaman to play with my friend, so yeah most people start new classes to experience a new one after the original and some do it to play with others.

crafted items can be good, but doing proffs at high level is.... you already know or you will

 

Which archetypes are you using?

 

This may vary by person, but curious if you truly start fresh or bank some items. I have been getting rid of warrior weapons every time I get them. Sometimes when I pass through the Ragni area I get some pretty low level ones that could be a boost early on. Not happening as much since I started riding though. But I could stop and walk through a crowd of low level mobs with guardian angel up and get a bunch to sort through.

 

I keep money between classes but I don't save random items that I get for other classes, and I don't use reward items [Qira Hive, LI, etc] unless I've gotten them on the relevant class.

i am playing battle monk for warrior (kind of boring than expected, i can only hope its because its early game) and acolyte for shaman (really funny lol)

 

Battle monk is a class that only really gets fun once you get Whirlwind strike, tbh

Before then it’s basically just Warrior with a larger uppercut hitbox

i've always wanted to play shaman and i figured 2.o was a good time to start it. i'm currently trying out summoner and i'm having an absolute blast with it! i would like to try out ritualist eventually as well.

other than that, i'm starting out a riftwalker/light bender mage class and its pretty cool. i would've done arcanist but i like the heal spell too much. i would eventually like to try out sharpshooter or trapper for archer, and maybe fallen for warrior? i've seen how they play and it looks pretty interesting to me.

 

With arcanist you certainly will HAVE A BLAST :)
