Many MMORPG's that have played have had some sort of item crafting system implemented in them, and I believe that Wynncraft should do the same. There have been a few people to suggest something similar in the past but never went into much detail on why it should be added. Something that I somewhat disliked about the current item system in the game is that in order to gain a certain item, then one would have to rely on luck in order to finally obtain the armor that they want. A crafting system can help the player obtain whatever kind of armor that they want. A crafting system could also be great for the economy as it crafted items would increase how much players trade. Here is how i think a crafting system may be done.

In each city there can be a crafting station placed which is where someone can right click it if they want to use it. Crafting materials can may be found through either drops from mobs, deconstructing items at a crafting station, buying them at a store, or found within a chest. The amount of items needed for a certain item would depend on the level and the type of the item. For example, a level 50 helmet would cost more materials than a level 30 helmet, however the amount of materials needed for a level 50 helmet may be different that the amount needed for a chestplate of the same level. The amount of health/damage it has would depend on the requirements of the item. For example, a chestplate would have lower health if there are no extra requirements to wearing the item. Once the item has been crafted, it's currently just a normal white item, so it would need to be improved.

When an item needs to be improved, it would require some more materials. There, players would allow themselves to add traits. They would add up to a certain limit depending on their quantity so this would influence players to add negative traits in order to increase the traits of the other ones, but they would have a limit to how high or a trait can be as well as how many traits an item can have. This first improvement would make it a Unique Item. The second improvement would make it a Rare Item, and the third and final improvement would make it a Legendary Item.

If anyone has anyone has a different system in mind, then I would love to hear a different way a crafting system can be implemented.

That's the point of getting items, by luck it increases their rarity to be found and make them more special.
If you can obtain any item by the crafting system, the rarity of the items would be lower and so the trades (because, who will pay for them if you can get them on your own?)
Being available to create any item you want would make the items more common as I said, and so they'll cost less, so It won't help economy.

*small tweak to the idea* Maybe you have to pay like a lot for the making of the item. For like a level 20 item you will pay 32 EB and you will have to gather materials like blaze powder to make a fire type thing, and depressing weapons to make it the class you want. Frozen ice shards can make it a air/water type, and leather can upgrade leather things, like 32 leather to upgrade a lvl 30 leather chestpiece. Each time you upgrade all the stats will be upgraded, and negative stats will go down farther. Crafting items will be just as hard as getting a mythic at level 100. At level 20 you will be able to start crafting items, and the place to make the items will be available in 2 regions, both having a hard quest like gathering a bunch of materials, talking to multiple people, and killing lots of things for their stuff. The place next to ternavas with the forge? There is where you get the things. The forge could be bigger, and once you enter the main dude will give you the quest, and the assistant can do the bob quest and suck the duppressing items out of the depressing items.

4.Has it been suggested before? (there are some things that have been suggested time and time again, it is better to look through suggestions first before making one just in-case someone already asked for it)

Now, i looked through those suggestions and they had a lot of detail.
If you have details, then you don't need to say why it should be added.
Also your reason why it should be added is an opinion
I like the system, because it can be fun getting items needed for a build
if we could just craft the items, then it would be boring.

You should give examples on what the item would look like when improved
What about what it should look like to craft items
how about what the items actually look like (crafting items)

that's really all i have to say

The idea ot self sounds good but i think that you should chnage that when you craft the item it will be undentified like an item found from a mob
