there's nothing that comes clearly "after" Infidel except for mythics
Infidel is one of the best options for nonmythic spell, so it's more of a choice based on build types if you want to switch to something else
i'd aim for getting mythics at endgame

 

im looking for something that attacks quickly and does high damage while not requiring any extra training.

 

Alkatraz probably fits as it's a bunch of left click gameplay
given you still need to dodge attacks if low ehp
it's pretty cheap now
