Warrior Bash Rework

The Problem
The main complaint about warrior in general is that it doesn't combo well which limits it DPS. Bash and uppercut both knock things back making it difficult to land successive hits. However, in regards to bash it has other problems. It is a very generic spell that doesn't really offer anything new. It seems more like an after though spell when throwing the class together.

A Comparison
Lets do a quick comparison of other what other first class spells have to offer to see why bash is so underwhelming.

Arrow Storm
This spell is the highest potential damaging spell in the game. It deals knockback like Bash but has its damage as its defining characteristic.

Heal
This is unique as it sacrifices all damage to introduce healing which other classes can't replicated besides shaman

Spin Attack
This allows the user to stunlock enemies making it unique from bash and more useful in general.

Totem
This does it all for shaman it heals it damages and nearly all other spells rely on it. It adds a new mechanic

And what does bash do that is unique? Not really anything it just is a plain old damage spell with a bit of knockback and slowness. Which every class can replicate with other spells. It is clear that warrior has a lack luster first spell that doesn't have anything distinguishing besides the fact that it is so plain compared to the other class spells.

Solution
Warrior needs something new and special to add to its first spell. I think bash should implement a new status effect called "Rooted" mobs that are rooted are unable to move due to slowness similar to Ice Snake but also are unable to take knockback. Players that are rooted will still be able to escape through the use of movement spells however. The duration of the status effect would be up to what would seem balanced. This overall would help with some of warriors problems especially with uppercut. It would be much easier to combo since mobs won't be flying everywhere and it would help warriors having something unique and class exclusive to make worth using.

Is this OP? Possibly but considering how powerful other classes first spells are I think this would bring warrior more in line with those.

War scream taunting with a proper taunt (current one de-aggros on hit) would be much better
I like the suggestion that others had to give bash a mini aura effect more than this

This is a good solution (albeit unoriginal) but there's better ones

Aaahhhhhh light theme text! This sounds a bit overpowered, but... Warrior. Okay yeah, seems fair.

 

How about uppercut just pulls enemies toward you, and forces them to agro onto you? That would make warrior fill the roll of a tank way better.
