The revenant chuckles. It grows into a deep cackle of pure evil.

"I am sure that you would wish to reconsider..." Suddenly, your two close companions, the treant Fredrick and your dog Jeffrey appear at the revenant's side. The two have been beaten near death, and are whimpering before you.

"It's not only the lives of these two that are at sake, all of Aldorei is. And do trust me, they would be mighty disappointed..." (of course, which is a paradox)

There must be a way to overcome this dilemma, while both saving your own life and all of Aldorei's as well...

"Well."

The queen rises (and so does all her ministers) and ponders. "Yes, but on one condition. This... great factory of yours... you must bring the supercomputer to me. I wonder if you have the bravery to do that... well, I mean if you managed to come to the Royal Court of Fruma, this must be a small task." The queen sits back down on her throne.

Note: trying to bring Antikythera to Fruma could drastically change the course of the whole war! unless you like doing that, in that case, I can't really stop ya

 

"Nah. Moving it is a pain, and we can easily get materials that it wants near where it currently is."

There is? Am i just missing something obvious, because i have no idea how to save everyone except accepting his deal which in character i don't want to do. Also don't want Jeffrey and Fredrick to die as far as i see it I'm fucked.

 

I decide to walk around Selchar for a bit just to look at the surroundings.

 

The queen's voice turns extremely strict, and her tone slithers.

"Then why are you here, little scum? With each word you speak, you tarnish our well-earned glory." The queen snaps her fingers. Suddenly, you feel a blinding pain to your head! (-9 HP)

You find yourself strapped in a chamber, and there are two chambers beside you, both filled with lava. The guard who allowed you here is also in a similar chamber, but it looks like it would be used for torture instead of execution... which you are about to face...

"Recite your last words, Corkian. Then we will begin." A man in a mask says.

The slice of pie is extremely delicious, and almost has you craving for more. (+20 HP)

Salyti has 23/25 HP, 27.5(-12) AS, and 17e.

Your companions are still very loyal to you... and don't forget that they're right beside the revenant, and they're not chained up like you...

Maro's Revenant has 220/220 HP and 9 AS (0% chance to dodge)
Blue Battle Sage has 11/38 HP, 61.2 AS, and 10e (70% chance to dodge*)

*so that you don't get one-hit KO'ed if you decide to fight the revenant

It is a wonderful and happy day, the birds are chirping, and the fishermen seem to be catching a lot of fish. It brings you another smile on your face.

 

Oh, by the way you described it i assumed that they were bearly breathing and unconcious, this changes everything.
Also do i need to do hand movment for subconciousness or no?

The other team has arrived in Troms and the two assemble. The other team has brought back Ancient Idol (+6.5 AS).

The manager didn't understand a word you said, but the guard--who is being literally pulled apart--speaks to you.

We will invade... your tiny island... and make sure... we receive the core... somehow... and we know about... this 'respawn'...we Imperial guards have it too... heh heh..." The guard screams as his fingers are detached. You look away... to the sight of lava burning your own body. (-40 HP) Tsu has been slain. (-5e) (-20 AS) You respawn in Relos (last friendly town)

I'll cast subconciousness on him and scream "Everybody charge"

The revenant tries to hold back, but fails to.

It's as if your companions suddenly notice you, but they tear down into the revenant's "flesh." (80 damage (crit))

Taking advantage of the revenant's subconscious state, you free yourself from the shackles and pounce on the revenant. (62 damage)

"I knew you were going to play that card, sage. Watch what I do..." The revenant releases a massive blow of dark energies into you. You dodge some of the particles. (-6 HP)

Your scout takes out his dagger and penetrates it into the revenant's face. He lets out a shrilling yelp. (61 damage)

The revenant charges into you, but you sidestep and he launches himself into a wall. (1 damage)

"How could I be this weak?!" he tells himself. While he recites his dramatic monologue, your treant smashes its heavy branch onto the revenant. (59 damage)

The revenant screams and shouts, as he slowly dissolves into a small hurricane of mist. Then the hurricane suddenly blows through the roof of the cavern, allowing you to see daylight again. A small jewel falls from the sky.

You gain +6 AS as xp.

Blue Battle Sage has 5/38 HP, 81.2 AS, and 10e, and has acquired Maro's Eye Jewel (+14 AS).

 

I make sure everyone is all right and loot the body

 

Everyone seems to be alright, except you. Your dog and treant's wounds seem to have magically healed upon the destruction of the revenant.

You loot a weird box. Inside the box (with a small window) is a gigantic package with potions that seem to be labeled Decay Antidote. Perhaps this can be used to fix the situation over in Aldorei? You also loot 20 emeralds. (+20e)

Question. Do i know if anyone in Aldorei could make a decay antidote or is this the first time I'm seeing or hearing about one.
Also OOC I'm curious on what would have happend if i accepted the deal. Could you please tell me?
