“Okay, I shall be off then. If your dare not honour the deal, know there will be consequences” I say to him, and then head off to do the favor

 

You start climbing up the winding wooden path. Although there seems to be less monsters than you expected there is still an ominous feeling in the air. You spot the peaks closest to Aldorei, and one rock formation is shaped like a skull.

Do you wish to head there?

"I shall say the same to you."

You head down the path to Iboju and find the small ruined hut near the west side, where two old tribesman are waiting. You approach them.

"Hello, young man." the adventurer's grandmother says. "I do assume my grandson--with the horrible personality--has told you about what has happened to us, and that we request some help."

 

I'll observe it rom a distance to see if i spot anything that might indicate monsters hiding

 

“Yes, what do you need me to do?”

"Ah. My bad. I'll head back then. I assume that you have a ship for me and my men to hitch a ride on to?"

 

As you tread slightly closer, the left "eye" of the massive boulder lets out a pitch black hue of smoke. You can smell the stench, and it is beyond awful. You also notice a small stream of the blackest liquid you have ever seen near the mouth of the boulder. It looks as if that is a stronger source of decay...

"We just need you to deliver this letter to a generous Troms guard near the Bridge, who has helped save both our lives, and half of our house. This letter addresses the promise he made to us, about how he would hire builders to repair our shelter. He shouldn't be too far from here."

A good layer of tech armor, some combat goggles (slightly enhanced sight, though mostly for cosmetic purpose), and a weird machine that seems to call back your army when you're in trouble. (a.k.a. teleporting your army when you die)

The fastest way to head to the gates of Fruma would be by sail from Relos. All you need would be a couple small boats as the journey wouldn't be too long. The slight trouble would be to find a generous sailor to sail you, however.

"Of course. Please follow me, I would like to get out of this place as much as you do. I think."

You follow the man to the docks, where three ships bearing the emblem of Selchar are docked.

"My buddies, Ranzo and Epherem, are sailing two ships, and I, Thaumas, will sail the largest one right there, which is sailing you. Yeah, I guess we might have gone a bit... overboard with the preparations..."

 

“I see” takes the letter “I’m glad I could fulfil the favor” heads off back to give the guard the letter

 

or... I can charge across the sea in a few minutes. xd

I'll send someone to scout and while they scout me and the rest of the army will rest

 

I board the ship with my men.
"I'm guessing there's been some kind of change in the foreign policy of Selchar?" I ask.

 

"Thank you again, dear."

You head through the dense undergrowth of the jungle towards the Bridge. You find a guard who is solemnly waiting, slaying any beasts from the Bridge who get too close to the jungle. The guard spots you after killing one last Magma Cube.

"Hello, commander Salyti! Do you need anything? Ah, a letter! Thank you very much. Let me start reading this..." The guard reads through the letter. "Oh, I do need to be heading to Iboju very soon. Goodbye! And... I must give you something... hm... here, take this Guard's Note." The guard starts heading off to Iboju.

You should show the note to the adventurer as proof you finished the favor.

You ask almost every sailor, but all respond with the same "Oh no, I'm not! That place's dangerous as hell! Those Imperial guards are ruthless!" However, you meet a convincing warrior and soldier who is willing to sail you.

"The rumors about the Fruman gate are really false, you know. Now, about the inside, I truly don't know. But I can sail you, don't worry!"

You send a loyal scout towards the boulder, while you and your army rest. Suddenly, you hear a blood-curdling scream from the skull-rock! Clearly something has happened to your scout...

"I mean, you've been gone for three weeks, ya know. They were about to label you as dead. Anyway, you're safe and sound, and this ship ain't gonna sail itself, so we're off to Selchar!"

A few hours later, the three ships dock at Selchar. On the docks, are so many citizens of Selchar, most worried. When they notice you coming off the ship, they shout in relief. You hear a little boy shout, "I told you he ain't dead yet!" Although the boy's words are slightly ominous, a smile is brought on your face.

 

I look to see what it is. If i need to I'll sneak closer to it to see and say to my army to only come oit if i give a signal

 

You head down the shaky path of rocks to head down to the skull. Suddenly, the mouth of the skull shuts, and the eyes glow red!

"Welcome, Blue Battle Sage. Trying to save Aldorei? Oh, I don't think so..." The mouth reopens and a harsh wind shoves you inside the mouth...

You awake to your scout trying to wake you up, in a dimly lit cave with streams of the same black liquid.

"C-commander! This is a truly h-horrifying place. I don't s-suppose the two of us can f-fight the monsters that l-lurk in here..."

 

"Lets go."

 

"I also doubt it, but i don't think we have much of a choice, unless we can get out unnoticed"

 

"Wait--hey, look! T-there's a small door there..." The scout points to a hollow sector of the cave wall. It does look like a door.

You board the ship while the sailor converses with you.

"Say, are you really heading inside the gate? Without your army? I mean, there's nothing wrong, just you really have a brave mind."

 

"If we die then I'm sorry i put you through this" I approach the door

 

Head back to the adventurer to pick up the (forgot what it’s called)

 

Give a small smile, but otherwise stay quiet.
