So if you havnt seen this thread go watch it.
basically if you are new here you don't remember but we used to have vote rewards a long time ago and they got removed cause of EULA and they were never fixed and re-implemented.
I'm here to suggest two possible solutions:

1) remove daily rewards and make people vote in order to get the reward

2) give the top voters an extra crate per month

 

What if there's a system where after we have a certain amount of votes there's dxp for a few hours?

 

but if you are not on a server it will be kinda weird

 

I very much agree. This would be very good for the server.
I feel like removing daily rewards isn't too popular of an idea, though.
I also think one extra crate a month isn't that much.
I feel like a 10% chance per daily increment to get a the loot you'd get from a daily is fair (so, 70% chance for all 7 dailies to get loot, and the amount of loot you get is determined by what daily number you rolled)
And then a 25% to get a common crate, and a 5% chance to get a rare one.
Something like that would be the absolute best, in my eyes.

Yeah something like that could work, or if you vote all week you get a personal dxp booster for like 20 minutes.

 

How about voting could give players 'Vote Points' every day, which they could use to buy special items in a separate in-game shop?

e.g.
7 Vote Points - Unique Fairy Dagger/Bow/Spear/Wand Weapon Skin
14 Vote Points - Skeleton Disguise
20 Vote Points - 1 free dungeon entry to everyone on the server
50 Vote Points - DXP for 5 minutes to everyone on the server
100 Vote Points - 1 free random item to everyone on the server (mini item bomb)

There was a system similar to this on another server I played on, where you could get special points from voting and you could exchange them for cool items, some of the most expensive I remember being special 'masks' which the player could wear to give them permanent potion effects, such as night vision.

A drop party could also be a good idea but I said you should get a personal dxp bomb so nobody else would profit from it besides you.

I don't know how Eula works with voting rewards. It's not pay2win after all, but instead vote2win. (Even though it's not really an instant 'win')

I guess this is good, but simply:
People wouldnt vote just for the sake of after 50 votes, OOH x2 XP FOR 5 MINUTES, OOH!

 

I think this should replace daily rewards

 

First idea is a lot better here. Not many people will vote if they don't think they can get maximum votes or will win, plus more than one person can get 30/31 votes a month, and giving away tons of crates isn't a great idea.

How? the only reason they got rid of GC was because it was against the eula Like yuno said> Is because its a hybrid currency


However this has literally nothing to do with irl money at all, so how would it be against the eula

reasons of why:
1. you dont have to be extremely clever to realize it is a bait for the server to go higher. there is a difference between asking for people ingame to vote and then say thanks (just like for example Cubecraft does, reason of why im pleased to vote for them) and going to the players: "HEY LOOK WE HAVE A REWARD FOR YOU BUUUUUUUUT YOU GOTTA VOTE SO WE CAN HAVE MORE PEEPS SO VOTE FOR US NOW"
if you think about it, its clear which looks nicer, and if you dont believe that it doesnt works, cubecraft is one of the higher servers in that page, and i havent received everything when i voted for them

if they are for example crates, there will be no reason to buy crates from the shop, and if it is emeralds, R.I.P. Economy, got fucked even more than what it was

how are we gonna reward them in the first place? EXP or emeralds would be way too op
crates would mean less money for the server
any item ingame would be pretty much impossible and it could also destroy economy too

so
unless this is a "Hey, if you like the server, could you vote for us in this page pls? ty!" i wouldnt even bother to check the server's stats in that page ever again and i would wish for them to remove this feature

believe it or not, this is some kind of bait for popularity, and its not that hard to realize
