"We're completely replacing your arms for that." A Shadow calls over.

 

"Oh." Iruk says.

"...should I even mention what happens then?"

Back between Rineth and a collosal blaze, your seeing-eye snake gets pulled in by the roaring fire hoarding air to continue the burn. At least you're heavier, but you can't see anything once again.

 

"What happens?" Zoe asks, slightly nervous.

 

Summon another snake, and go back to Rineth.

 

"I can't remember, but I think it releases the toxin and... um... hold on... Ruby says they'll flood the room, carrying the toxin with the water."

The wind gusts hard, but you should make it back to Rineth at this rate.

He doesn't notice your approach, but at least you're real damn far from the fire.

 

"That's a big relief." Cecil stares at the fire.

 

"We could always put you in a separate room and remove the arms remotely." Zoe says, raising her hand. Iruk is lifted telekinetically off the ground.

 

It's collosal, a plume of smoke almost rising high enough to catch Rineth's attention.

"I think this is more of a one-piece-at-a-time op. Everything has as much danger to me as it does you."

 

"Ok, that's going to burn for 20 years."

 

"I could always ask for some more guardians to help us. Our combined powers are sure to be able to keep you safe." Zoe says positively, setting Iruk down gently.

 

"What?" Ihra asks, sliding off Rineth towards you.

"Thanks. Just... nevermind. It's irrelevant." Iruk says, walking off.

 

"That fire."

(The 20 year thing is an inside joke)

 

"W-what the... did you see how it started? Are you okay?!" Ihra asks, worried. "I-I gotta get the others!"

 

"No. One moment I was with Kailee, then suddenly there's was a fire. I'm fine, but part of Kailee's tail was cut off, so I had to desummon her."

 

"What is it?" Zoe asks, curious.

 

Ihra starts shaking you gently.
"Summon her. I'll heal her." She urges.

"I was going to say turn around but it's just Ruby messing around." Iruk grumbles.

 

"Ok!" Cecil summons Kailee.

 

Kailee's still unconscious, but Ihra quickly stops her bleeding with a spell.
"Poor thing... you're okay though, right?" She asks, still on half-panic mode.

 

The team just continues working on parts, though the wings appear to be completely finished.

 

"Should someone get Xephyr?! Or anyone who can use water?!"
