Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Sure." Iruk says, walking over.

 

I return the salute, and then teleport to Ren.
"There are other Draconians here."

 

He seems startled, falling into the hole.
"Agh, my king.
You surprised me." He says, distracted.
"There's something here.
Right under me." He says, before pausing.

"Wait... other Draconians?"

 

The blueprints detail a pair of wings slightly larger than Iruk's current blade-wings. They look quite sharp, but easily capable of flight. A short list of materials is listed on the side of the blueprint; most of the wings seem to be planned to be made of 'Iruk's Material'.

 

"Yes." I reply, "But first, do you identify with the hive or the resistance?"

 

"Looks pretty good. Show this to Lidnis when she gets here." Iruk says, handing the blueprint back.

"No and no.
I fled Hive.
Is there resistance?"

 

"I think she's already here, Mr. Iruk." The Shadow says.

 

"Oh? I guess I'll bring it to her, then." Iruk says, starting to walk off.

 

The Shadow hands Iruk the blueprint, smiling.

 

"Thank you."
Iruk heads over to Lidnis, talking to her in Dacori.

"...Alright, yeah. Just give me a while to weave."

 

A few people try to sneakily glance at the pair, still working but their attention diverted to Iruk and Lidnis. Those closest to them try to overhear what they're saying.

 

They can hear but not understand until Lidnis' closing line as she heads back to storage.

 

Most people get back to work, though some still sneak glances now and again.

 

Lidnis is bending metal into sheets, Iruk watching as she works.
Five different metals eventually start to be fused into one thin sheet of cloth-behaving metal.

 

A fire guardian carries a large piece of finely created metal, which looks to be part of a wing, out from the hot room and places it on one of the workstations. Unfortunately, nobody seems to be at the workstation.

 

"What's that meant for? Frame or something else?" Iruk asks, Lidnis folding the fabric as she goes.

 

"Uh, that's one of the wing parts." An earth guardian says, glancing over at the blueprint.

 

Iruk looks at the blueprint again.
"This material is the main surface of the wing, I thought..." Iruk says, pointing at the pile of clothlike metal.

 

"Hmm, yes." The earth guardian says.

 

"So, is that other metal the frame?" Iruk asks, Lidnis carrying over the clothlike metal to the earth guardian.
