"Then stop being paranoid!" Ihra says, stressing out.

 

"I'm just trying to look out for you..." Eve says.

 

"It's just a damn tree! What did that bird ever do to me?!" She yells, frustrated.

 

"There could've been people hiding behind it..." Eve says, dejected.

 

"We would know. Even then, one person can't stop any of us. You realize Rineth isn't useless in combat, that we've gotten this far without you? I appreciate your concern, but I'm not a sitting duck in the middle of an archery range." Ihra says, still frustrated. "The more the merrier, but shooting trees is ridiculous."

 

"Well...fine! If you don't want me then you should've just said!" Eve shouts, disappearing.

 

"That's not..." Ihra shouts, then sits down, saddened.

"You haven't slept in a while, have you?"
"Nope."

 

"Figured."
She continue on without touching the swords.

 

A shard of ice grows into a wall that blocks your way.
"Hey, how'd you find those? I need to hide them." A woman's voice says as the air chills.

 

She turns around to the woman.
"Came across it...Accidentally."

 

It's another dragon-being in a purple robe carrying a dark tome.
"If my enemy gets a hold of those, we have little chance. I'll let you in on a secret; if you pay half your soul to activate them, they will replenish all your energy and heal all your wounds when you kill something."

 

"I'm not interested, and I'm leaving."
She starts to back away.

 

"I didn't mean to scare you. What's wrong?" She asks, fetching the blades and holding them, no energy eruptions from the blades.

 

"Well, I don't want to pay half of my soul. And you look...evil. No offense."

Does she care about the blindfold and the snakes?

 

No, she doesn't.
"It's only to release their power. I won't risk that either. It's a huge gamble; kill and you get your soul back. Fail and it burns it off until you're dead."
She pauses.
"I take offense. Why do I look evil? You look blind!"

 

"It's because I am."

 

"So you're assuming I'm evil?! I... let me fix that. Can I serve you in any way while master is taking leave?"

 

"Master?"
