"I have my life back... I felt something weird, but I have a second chance..."

 

"You certainly look a lot younger and healthier than before." Myria says happily.

 

"Yeah! Except my body fainted from happiness back in the portal. I'm hoping to wake up and get out soon."

 

"Portal?" Myria asks, looking around.

 

"I was in some forest."

 

"Interesting...perhaps it was simply somewhere safe for you to be as you got used to living again?" Myria asks.

 

"Possibly. I dunno. Still, I feel... so energetic."

 

"With young age comes more energy." Myria says, smiling.

 

"It's so bizzare... I wonder if it will affect my visions."

 

"Maybe you'll have time to learn how to control them, now you have all the time you lost." Myria says.

 

"True, but in retrospect... I guess I'm now a bigger target. If they used me before, I must be right up there now..."

 

"That is certainly true." Myria says.

Stephanie walks over, looking much better than before.

"Hey, Ragnyon. You look different." Stephanie says, smiling.

 

"I am now irredeemably in Gaia's debt for granting me a second life." Ragnyon says, seeming extremely happy.

 

"W-Wow, you spoke with Gaia?" Stephanie asks, shocked.

 

"Yes, and... I hope this life can be my own, not my captors'."

 

"Don't worry, we'll keep you safe." Stephanie says happily.

"We've worked hard enough to keep you alive as it is." I say, stepping through a now closing portal.

 

Ragnyon seems a bit surprised.
"Am... am I that much of a burden?" She asks, hurt.

 

"No, not at all. I meant we'll try with the same if not greater determination to keep you safe than when you were hurt." I say reassuringly.

"I personally think you're a great person to be around." Stephanie says happily.

 

"Thank you... it means a lot to have supportive people with me during these... rough-at-best times."

 

"You got given a second life and you're calling it 'rough'? Jeez, some people are never happy." Abigail says, her arms crossed as she casually strides over to the group.
