Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Crystal presses his face against the ice, and asks,
"What's wrong?"

 

A few icy figures appear in the ice. One attacks another, while a third tries to pull it away but ends up getting stabbed while the first lies badly wounded.

 

Crystal seems confused.
"Is that what happened to you?"

 

Katie nods. It almost looks like she's crying, but it's impossible to tell.

 

Crystal makes some figures of his own on the outside of the ice.
It's two figures, one with a white forehead and one with a black forehead.
The one with the black forehead stabs the other with a katana, and the white one goes limp.
"It'll be okay."
Crystal smiles.

 

Katie just closes her eyes, covering them with her hands. If she wasn't crying before, she most certainly is now.

 

"Katie? There's nothing to fear. It's okay. He's gone."
Crystal says in a soothing tone.

 

Katie just keeps crying.

 

Crystal keeps watching, sadly.

 

Katie's iceberg fogs up, so she can't be seen anymore.

 

Crystal decides to sit down and wait.

OOC: You don't have to respond immediately now, Crystal's just waiting.

 

Sgavrinn anchors Artemis to his back via vines as he runs off towards Ihra.

"Hey, boy... oh geez, Artemis, are you okay?"


"A-alright... if you say so." Ragnyon utters, seeming to have a second thought.

 

"Uuughn." Artemis groans, tired.


"Don't worry. I'll take your soul even if you don't want to become a robot because there is no freaking way I'm making a robot body for you to have you decide against it." I say, smiling.

 

Ihra starts transferring some of her energy to Artemis.
"Are the others okay, at least? Where's Katie?"


"Note to self, read fine print before you sign and seal your soul to metallic condemnation." Ragnyon utters.

 

"Abigail's...alright. Katie's...back with the group..." Artemis says.


"I haven't done anything yet, so you can still back out if you want to. Maybe you could go and ask the life guardians to hook you up with Gaia and ask for a second life, but if you want an assured 'life', then I'd suggest taking the robotic body. These things take a while to make, so I'll need confirmation soon." I say.

 

Ihra finishes the transfer and starts healing Artemis, just to be safe.
"They're both back up and moving?"


"Gaia can't give me back my blood, unless I'm sorely mistaken. I'm leaning towards condemnation at this point."

 

"Technically, yes..." Artemis says.

There's not much to heal, if anything.


"Gaia can just turn back the clock on your life and refresh your blood. She brought Myria back." I say.

 

"Technically?" Ihra asks, worried.


"I would prefer that, but I have done nothing to deserve such attention from a god... why would she offer such a blessing to me, or even consider it?"

 

"Katie's confined to her mini iceberg, but she's conscious..." Artemis says.


"Artemis got her to bring Myria back. I'm pretty sure to Gaia she was just asking for her mother back who died ages ago. Gods can be fickle." I say.

 

Ihra runs off back to the group, leaving Sgavrinn confused.


"That sounds sentimental. My request sounds greedy... I don't want to be judged as so by a god."
