Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I know, which is...saddening." Eve says.

 

"It's nothing to be down about. Iruk isn't bad, and Thirteen's nice. It's just my blood. Besides, I don't have long to live, so you won't have to worry about me for that long." Ragnyon says, trying to bring Eve's spirits out without dragging herself noticeably down.

 

"Well...maybe when you die you can be put in a robot!" Eve says happily.

 

"Maybe." Ragnyon says, distant.

Ragnyon's spirit body approaches you.
"Aj? Could you... um..."

 

"It's really not that bad, I promise!" Eve says happily.


"Hmm?" I ask.

 

"How would I sustain blood levels, despite using it?" Ragnyon asks.


"Could you build me a robotic body by chance?" She asks, clearly something burning on her mind.

 

"You don't need blood? Well, I guess you could have blood if you wanted." Eve says.


"Uh, sure. I can get my engineers on it," I say, "Why?"

 

"I do need blood, but I use it. For the visions. Hemomancy."


"Because I don't want to die... I want to keep giving visions, but my blood is caustic to metals."

 

"Oh. Well, I'm sure something could be worked out!" Eve says positively.


"I'm sure I could ask the engineers to install a system much like the human blood system in which you have a means of creation, transmission and protection of blood wherein you'd be able to use your blood without it touching metal," I say, "I'll be honest, very little of Eve is metal. It's mostly magic, a mix of human parts and other materials, and a bit of metal and computers to assist with it all."

 

"Hopefully."


Ragnyon's spirit looks sick, wavering a bit.
"Let's not tell me details yet."

 

A long flaming red haired girl walks over to the group, wearing a long-sleeved red shirt with an orange fire symbol on it, a pair of black jeans and firey, armoured boots. She looks quite confused at the new robotic member, though she walks with pride in her step.


"Well, I'll get the engineers working on a body for you. I'll need your soul in a crystal when you die, however." I say.

 

Ragnyon holds up her staff and starts peering into her future, uncaring of who they are.


Ragnyon's soul molds itself into a crystal shape, then back.
"Can't guarantee that'll happen."

 

It's obviously Abigail.


"No soul crystal, no robot." I say.

 

The vision shows Abigail talking to someone or something hiding.
"All better?" Ragnyon asks.


"I'll try. You'd have to kill me to extract my soul for crystallization, though."

 

"Yeah. How's Katie?" Abigail asks, slightly confused.

"Conscious." Artemis says, laying exhausted against a tree.


"Or I just have a death guardian nab it and put it in a crystal." I say.

 

"Artemis, go talk to Ihra at the park. I'm sure Sgavrinn would be happy to take you there." Ragnyon says gently, Sgavrinn nudging Artemis a bit from the other side of the tree.


"You... uh... do realize how I'm talking to you, right?"

 

Crystal, upon hearing about Katie, walks over to where her iceberg was to see if he can find her.

I continue listening.

 

Artemis climbs onto Sgavrinn weakly, laying on his back.


"Yes. It just makes it easier at the time." I say.

Katie floats in her vine-covered iceberg, looking depressed.

 

Crystal smiles and waves at Katie.

 

Katie looks up, before waving slightly.
