Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Eve flies after Ihra, waving to Rineth.

 

Ihra lands, enters, and makes a beeline to Ragnyon and Artemis' group.
"Hey, Ragnyon, have you met Eve?"
"Who?"

 

"Hi." Eve says, raising her hand slightly.

 

"Hello. Um... what's your name? I'm Ragnyon. Nice to meet you." She says, offering a limp claw for a handshake.
The tips of her claws have dried blood on them.

 

"Eve. It's nice to meet you, Ragnyon." Eve says, accepting the handshake; albeit slightly suspicious of the blood.

 

"What's wrong?" Ragnyon asks, pulling back her hand and propping herself up with her staff, repositioning herself, and sitting back down.

 

"U-Uhm...you're kinda bloody." Eve says.

 

"Oh, that. Here..."
Ragnyon grips her staff, holding the crystal ball between her and Eve as blood runs out of Ragnyon's claws into the ball.

A vision of Eve being rebuilt from the ground up is shown, but it ends there.
"I cannot control when or what I see, but I believe showing the visions to the subject simplifies explaining them."

 

"That's happened a lot. If I'm ever destroyed, I can just rebuild myself." Eve says.

"Oh, did you want any robotic upgrades? Ihra said you had trouble walking." Eve asks.

 

Ragnyon pauses.
"W-well... I have trouble walking, but that'd... no, I don't want any robotics in me. The braces are okay." She says, slightly fearful.

 

"No, I meant like a pair of boots and leggings that would add strength to your legs and feet and help you walk." Eve says, chuckling slightly.

 

"No, I don't want to risk it. Metal hurts... burns." Ragnyon says, now evident that the handshake left a scorch mark.

 

"Well, only heated metal. If you're that worried, though, it could probably be manufactured with a different material; or layered on the inside with protection." Eve says, looking at her hand.

 

A bit of Ragnyon's blood is on Eve's hand, appearing stuck on and boiled.
"No robotics." She says flatly. "Sorry."

 

Eve kneels down to the ground, before blasting her hand off and letting the grey goo form another one.

"Oh..." Eve says, disappointed.

 

"It doesn't react well to Oracle's Blood. Otherwise, I'd have jumped on the opportunity." Ragnyon sighs, showing the chain marks on her wrists.

 

Eve nods understandingly, but she still looks rather down.

 

"What's bothering you?" Ragnyon asks, concerned.

 

"It's just...I don't know. I want people to like robotics." Eve says.

 

"I didn't say I hate them. I just can't use them." Ragnyon says, trying to comfort Eve.
