Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"She most likely exploited Aj for personal gain. Perhaps killing him as a show of power, or to take something from him. Nonetheless, she is not to be trusted. Please come with me." Eve says, heading into the city. Strangely, Eve looks almost human. Her simple white shirt, trousers and boots certainly make her stand out, as well as the strange tone to her voice, but her hair, skin and face looks completely normal.

"Oh really? Good. A point of weakness to strike that bitch down." I say, annoyed.

 

"I... have problems believing that..." Ihra says, reluctantly following Eve.

"I'm kidding. Don't you know any jokes?"

 

Eve weaves a strange transparent screen in front of her, before handing it to Ihra. It shows a video of the events leading up to Ruby's betrayal, Eve's summoning and Ruby's disappearance.

"I know jokes, but I don't joke around with revenge." I say.

 

"That looks aggrivated to me."

"Everyone else I knew would've laughed. What jokes do you know?"

 

Eve rewinds the screen to the point where Ruby locks Aj in the draconian's body.

"Not in the mood." I say bluntly.

 

"Lidnis taught me to look at everything."

The draconian laughs.
"Good one. Name's Amber, nice to meet you."

 

"She attempted to kill Aj, to the point I was summoned. I am a _. _. Aj would only summon me in severe occasions." Eve says. Oddly, she leaves some parts of her statement out, yet acts like she said them.

"Nice to meet you too, Amber." I say.

 

"Stop skipping words, please..." Ihra asks, nervous.

"We seek to kill Ruby to be relieved of our curses. Mine is my wound; others are more severe."

 

Eve looks confused.

"And why does Ruby want you all dead?" I ask.

 

Ihra waits, slowly becoming annoyed.

"So she can have her life back. We want our curses lifted, but each is only granted once the other side is slain."

 

"Please follow me." Eve states.


"So, what you're saying is, I kill either all of you, and I get some betraying bitch her life back, or, I go and take revenge on that wench and lift the curses of a lot more people than just one?" I ask, "Gee, it's such a hard decision. Especially with the fact that Ruby can self destruct. If only there was a way I could kill her and get away from the situation!"

I appear next to myself, putting the watch of true time away as I take it out, before high fiving myself as I disappear.

"Yeah. Some bitches gonna die tonight." I say, serious.

 

Ihra reluctantly follows.

"You forget her pact; time travel won't let you escape."

 

Eve walks back to Ragnyon and the main group, glancing back at Ihra occasionally as she walks.

"What pact?" I ask.

 

Ihra seems to have ducked off somewhere.

"The safest way to kill her is from range - if you can catch her off guard. Her aftermath detonation creates a tear in the flow of timespace, preventing time travel in and out and removing anything caught inside from existence.

 

Eve launches off on her jetpack, scanning the area with her visor for Ihra.


"Then I'll just send my war machine, Eve. She can snipe a target to kill from a good 10 to 20 miles," I say, "I'm not exaggerating. She was built to kill. Of course, sniping a target from 20 miles takes a lot of energy, but the target is dead 20 miles away. Where's the danger?"

 

Seems Ihra's already outside the city.

"There's room to miss. That's the danger."

 

Eve flies down to Ihra.


"She won't miss. We've tested her in all manner if scenarios. Illusions, space bending, warp holes, extreme speed, time and space irregularities. Every single shot was a kill. She only has one, but she makes it count," I say, "And the failsafe? The shot is homing."

 

Ihra's gliding towards Rineth.

"We'll see. You gave Ruby a staff, and now she can wield more power than before... not like she needed it."

 

Eve flies directly in front of Ihra, blocking her.


"Well," I say, heading out the room, "Time for the hunter to become the hunted."

 

Ihra blinks past, frustrated.
"Leave me alone!" Ihra shouts.

"And you're going to leave me here?" Amber asks, weary.
