"Each element has their own way to spin the metal. If you could bring me some, I will help you learn depending on your native element."

 

"Um, I don't really have a native element; unless you mean darkness." The employee says.

 

"Hmm... Darkness can void the metal and rearrange it, but it's extremely taxing. Time, fire, earth, and water are the easiest."

 

"Yeah..." The employee says, a slight sadness in her voice.

 

"You can still work softer metals, though. Not everyone needs a titanium alloy robe." Lidnis says, still blunt.

 

"It's fine, I'm happy with normal fabric." The employee says, holding up the finished dress.

 

"It looks... ineffective for protection. Nice, but ineffective."

 

"It's just meant to look pretty." The employee says.

 

"Then it's effective. Perhaps I can bring some of my people's wares here to sell sometime?"

 

"I'm sure you could open your own market stall." The employee says.

 

"No, I can't dedicate that much time. Perhaps I'll send a merchant, but next time I'll come I'll bring a warrobe and a ceremonial gown."

 

"Uh, why?" The employee asks, curious.

 

"To show you my people's craftsmanship... and I'm their leader. You won't likely ever meet a more powerful chronomancer."

 

"Oh, uh..." Unsure of what to say, the employee bows.

 

"I'm not your leader. What's that for?" Lidnis says, bluntly unimpressed.

 

"Well, uh, it's just you're so powerful, so...I didn't know what to do." The employee says, turning red.

 

"Is that some shadow thing? Bow to the powerful? I have much to get used to, then..."

 

"N-No, I just didn't want to be disrespectful." The employee says.

 

"You only bow to council members if you wish to propose something."

 

"Oh, ok." The employee says, embarrassed.
