Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"H-huh? What's happening? Aj?" Artemis says in a sweet voice.

"Who was shouting just no-" Artemis stops suddenly, having noticed Stephanie's body and the large black dragon.

Artemis suddenly draws her bow and aims an arrow at Rineth.

"Artemis wai-" Vines suddenly encase me as Artemis' hands glow green.

"I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR HURTING MY FRIENDS!" Artemis screams, aiming the arrow at Rineth's eye.

 

"Let her have her moment. Ihra's stronger than her."

"I GO OUT OF MY WAY TO MEET YOU, AND YOU DO THIS?!" Ihra screams from a distance.
The vines around you are torn apart. Even more vines mess with Artemis' aim.

 

Artemis' eyes begin to glow green, her hands gaining a green aura.

The vines wither away into dust, Artemis turns and glares at Ihra

"Oh the pretty little mage girl, Aj told me about you," Artemis echoes, giving a wry smile.

"He told me you liked to tie him up in vines and spit on him. Is this true?"

"Artemis you don't understand!"

A large vine hand seizes me as Artemis turns to glare at me, "STAY OUT OF THIS!" she commands, slamming me into the ground.

Something along the lines of 'You should run' comes from the patch of dirt my face is wedged in.

 

"I could send you back to where you were, now don't touch Rineth, he's my favorite caretaker."
She steps out of the plants she was in.
"Now, I could run, or I could notice that you're like a plant. And that I'm like a plant. And that I'm loving your energy!"
The auras around Artemis' body are flowing towards Ihra, horns starting to glow.
"Now, my friends are stronger than me, so listen to AJ and hear him out."
I step near Ihra.
"Her staff will literally eat your soul. Trust me, it's not fun.
Don't ask.
...I'm gonna go."
I vanish.

 

"Boy, would it be great to be able to do that right about now."
I say, very frightened.

 

"Iph you womph lifen arfifif, you'ph giphen me no choiph" I say through dirt.

Ignoring the plant comment, Artemis drags me out of the ground and glares at me, "SPEAK." she commands.

My hair is green, and my face looks a lot older than before, "Artieeee" I say in a far off voice.

"Don't you DARE!" she shouts, turning the vines to thorns.

"Where are you Artieeeeeee" I continue.

"STOP IT! STOP!" she screams. Her eyes begin to lose their glow.

Suddenly, my head falls off, spraying blood everywhere. "Where were you Artieeeeeeeee" I say in a solemn voice.

Artemis and I fall to the ground, Artemis is in tears. "I told you never to do that again!" she says, crying.

"Her father was killed when she was young," I explain, "The memory of having his decaptitated head given to her still haunts her." I say sadly.

 

"Ihra hid you as well. She can't see you." I whisper.
"Turn around."
I'm just standing there.

"So you fake it like it's nothing? No wonder she doesn't listen to you."
Ihra approaches you two, stopping a few paces short of Artemis.
"Well, you're alive. How was the Void?"

 

"Well that's convenient."
I say, less frightened.
"Ihra really can do a lot, can't she?"

 

I grin.
"Not as much as I can make people think I can," I say with a wink.

 

I summon my notepad once more, and show it to you. Various sketches of 'Possible Fights' mark the pages, detailing how Artemis might hurt Ihra, and vice versa. "I don't do it all the time, I did it because I had to."

"We were ambushed" Artemis says, wiping tears from her face "Dark creatures attacked us and then...I can't remember."

Artemis turns to me, and asks "So what did you do to annoy Ihra?"

"What do you mean?"

Vines entangle me, and Artemis spits in my eye. I seem less than humoured.

Artemis smirks.

 

"Don't make them go after us right now. Let's see if Ihra can hold her own."

"That's not funny! He was attacking me!"
Rineth appears next to Ihra.
"Ihra, calm down."
"But I-"
"Just relax. She's not mocking you."
"But... but... buuh... Fine."

 

I materialize in, and tip my hat.
"Mornin' all! How's it goin'?"
An innocent smile on my face, I extend my hand to Artemis.
"I'm Luphyx."

 

"Good decisions. Remind me why the rarely ever happen?"
I ask Vesius.

 

"Why the hell do you think a valid response is coming out of ME?" I laugh.

 

I chuckle.
"Fair point."

 

Uh......87 pages....

 

It grows so fast.... it's up to 1737 posts. And then you bring in the report thread.... It is huge. Don't worry though, if you were to read all of it it would take only about 5-6 hours!
