Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I dunno, I don't pay much attention to him." Ruby mutters.

"I'll go." Ihra says nervously, just before running off to the lower entrance.

 

Ihra eventually finds Victus, Abigail and I. Abigail appears to be conscious, covered in fines, and waves when she sees Ihra.

"Oh, hey Ihra." I say, smiling once I see her.

 

"Hi. Myria said to go get you." Ihra utters.

 

"Oh, why?" I ask, "Is something wrong? You don't sound alright, Ihra."

 

"I dunno, on both counts." She sighs.

 

A written note is thrust in Ihra's direction, held by Abigail.

 

Ihra reads the note.

 

"Don't feel sad. I'm alright, and the others are too, right?" The note reads.

 

"Kind of. Katie's healing, but this feels like a bad ome-"
Ihra freezes up, then runs off.
"Haven't seen Ragnyon at all." She shouts.

Startled, Ragnyon wakes up and rolls off a bench in the entry.
"H-huh? Did you call- oh god... What happened to Abigail?"

 

"She was stabbed by a light creature; left for dead." I say.

Abigail writes a note and hands it to Ragnyon.

 

"Oh, gods..." Ragnyon reaches for the note, crawling towards Abigail.

"What's with Ihra?"

 

"No idea." I say.

"I was ambushed with Katie." The note reads.

 

"Why'd she run off?"
Ragnyon nods at the note, looking at the flame gravely.

 

"No idea. I think something about bad omens?" I say.

 

"What's an omen? Is it like a fortune?"

 

"Uh, it's kind of like bad luck. Bad omens are signs of bad things that are going to happen." I say.

 

"Well, I'm here. Why'd she run off that way?"

 

"No idea," I say, "She told me Myria wanted me, so I should probably go see her."

 

"Can you help me back to them? Sgavrinn's my easiest way around."

 

"Hm, I guess I could always empower you if you wanted." I say.
