Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Yes, I am. Currently, the only one of my kind."

Ihra takes the crystal.
"Thanks, but... how do I use it?"

 

"Throw it on the ground where you want to open the portal." Stephanie says, smiling.

 

"So, here would be fine?"

 

"If you want." Stephanie says.

 

"I see."

"Also, do you happen to have any idea on where the main group would be?"

 

Ihra throws the crystal on the ground.

"Not at the moment, no."

 

The crystal sparks darkness, before a dark portal opens up in front of Ihra.

 

"I see." I reply.

"Well, I'm off." I say, before wandering around again, looking for anymore members of the group.

 

Ihra steps through.

You can see Iruk, Thirteen, and Crystal awkwardly off to the side.

 

Ihra finds herself just outside the doors to the Shadow Palace, a pair of guards on duty beside it.

 

Ihra wanders blindly into the palace walls.
"Oof... How does Aj even see here..." She grunts, noticing her missing sight charm.

 

"Need some assistance, ma'am?" A gardener asks, noticing Ihra.

 

"Yes, please... wherever you are."

 

A hand takes Ihra's, and she's lead into the palace.

"Where do you want to go?" The gardener asks.

 

"I wanna talk to Aj. I was a bit hard on him, but I hope to make things up to him... a bit."

 

"The king? Oh, I think he's in a restricted area for me, sorry. I'll do my best to lead you to him though." The gardener says, leading Ihra through the palace.

 

"Thanks, and... Is there any way I can have some way to see? I'm sure he'll let me go to... wherever he is, once I'm not blind."

 

"Oh, of course. Give me just a moment." The gardener says. Ihra feels the gardener let go of her hand, but a while later, she can hear them return.

"Here, put these on." The gardener says, putting what feels like glasses in Ihra's claw.

 

Ihra puts them on, or tries to.
"Thanks?"

 

Ihra finds it much easier to see once she puts the glasses on, the entire area around her lighting up to what would make it seem like a gentle sunlight is resting on the palace.

"Can you see?" The gardener asks, smiling at Ihra.
