Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I haven't got any of my crystals to open a portal to the realm of shadows, I don't even know how I got here in the first place. All my clothes are different!" Stephanie says, distraught.

 

"It's alright... You'll be fine. They'll be back soon..." Ihra says, trying to comfort Stephanie.

 

Stephanie just hugs Ihra, worried.

 

"What's the worst that could happen? You can stay with us..."

 

"Well...Myria's warnings have left me feeling a little uneasy; I feel like I could be picked off at any moment." Stephanie says, shaking slightly.

 

"So much for friends, I guess. Maybe these people were right about Aj... maybe... what if he meant to kill mother?" Ihra says, shaken.

 

Just as Ihra says this, I step through a portal, before running over to Stephanie.

"Stephanie, there you are! Are you alright? We've been looking all over for you!"

"I-I'm alright." Stephanie says, before hugging me too.

"Oh, hey Ihra." I say, smiling at Ihra.

 

Ihra glances nervously at you.
"I guess this is goodbye, then?" Ihra asks, shaken and worried.

 

"What? No, we're just trying to stay away from this city until things calm down. Has there been any changes regarding what happened?" I ask.

 

"Yeah. Kill on sight charges drops. Unease, but no active hostility." Ihra says, worried.

 

"Sounds good enough to me." I say happily, opening a dark portal beside me and stepping through.

"I can sense your fear, by the way." I say, turning back, my eyes glowing as the portal closes.

 

Sgavrinn squealing prevents you from closing it as he tries to squirm through.

"Aj... When are you coming back?" Ihra asks, no longer hiding her fear.

 

I open the portal large enough for Sgavrinn to get through.

"I'm going to gather the others and bring them here. So soon." I say.

 

He darts through and starts looking around for Artemis frantically.

"Okay." Ihra sighs, still nervous.

 

The portal closes, disappearing.

Sgavrinn finds himself in the throne room, though Artemis is nowhere to be seen.

 

Sgavrinn runs around, looking in even trivial places in his search.

 

Sgavrinn eventually finds Artemis getting a massage with the others in the massage parlour; she doesn't seem to notice him at first.

 

Clearly disregarding everything else, Sgavrinn runs into Artemis' massage bed/table and starts nuzzling Artemis, whining quietly.

 

"Oh, hey Sgavrinn!" Artemis says happily, reaching out and gently petting Sgavrinn.

 

"I missed you!" He says, humming happily as he lies on the now-destroyed massage bed.
