"I, as well as my friends, and everyone who lives in his kingdom's lives are in his hands to protect us from the beasts that roam the wilderness in the realm of shadows. I'm still standing here today." Tirra says proudly.

 

"Vei trusted him with her daughter. She never wanted to know betrayal." The worker says in spite.
"Controversy aside, we both have jobs we need to do, I believe."

 

Tirra looks hurt, before skulking off into the city.

 

The shorter one helps the trio. Helianthus starts walking around, surveying the landscape.

Before I walk out, I ask, "Also, I request permission to cremate the dead Draconians."

 

Tirra sees Ihra exploring the city, particularly fascinated with walking upside-down.

It's a long, narrow valley. Rineth wouldn't fit, and Sgavrinn would have a hard time worming through the passage.

 

"Uh, hey Ihra." Tirra says, slightly depressed, walking over to Ihra.

 

"Hello... uh... who are you?" Ihra asks, confused.

I look at Crystal.
"I'm going to walk around, see what's what. Wanna come with?"
"Sure!"
Crystal stands up and follows me, as I walk towards the power plant.
This may or may not be a good idea, but I appear to be up for it anyways.

 

Iruk seems to be heading in that direction too. Ihra's having fun on an upside-down walkway.

 

Crystal and I continue, catching up to Iruk if he's ahead, and slowing down if he's behind.

 

Catching up to Iruk, he stops.
"Hey, you two. How's it going?"

 

"Good!"
"Confusing. I'm not really sure if we just screwed everything up."
I look towards the power plant as I say this, while Crystal looks at Iruk.

 

"What do you mean? It was already sinking; blowing up the generator just forbade Stephanie from coming back. Ever."

 

"Well, it's also a morale thing. She did kill people. Trained people, who knew what they were doing. She destroyed one of their energy sources. If I was one of these people, I'd be feeling really down right now."

 

"Yeah, not like there already wasn't enough to be feeling down for. Except now she's a wanted criminal, so... Hopefully that word gets to her the easy way. You know, the one without weapons."

 

"Yeah... It's funny, too. She's super powerful, she'll be able to take down a lot if they come swinging. But she's still human. Still goes through human things, does human stuff."

Pause.

"I think."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Crystal pipes up.
I turn to Crystal.
"Crystal, how much do you know about the human female body?"
"Not much."
"Do you want to know what I'm talking about?"
"I dunno..."
"Well, if you do, ask me about it sometime."

I turn back to Iruk.

"It's just unfortunate that rage is a thing humans go through."
I finish, seeming like I never got sidetracked with Crystal.

 

"Yeah. Maybe a bad thought or something, maybe a misunderstanding. Still, we could see how they got the generator working again."

 

"Right."
I focus on walking.

 

Once you reach the power plant, there are two draconians operating it.
"You're not here to kill us all, are you?"
"No, we figured we'd check how the generator got fixed."
"Some lady in armor heavier than her heart after our conversation fixed it. Boy, she left looking depressed."
