After sniffing at it, Maxie starts tearing at it with his claws.
Keila links to Eras.
"I think I found at least a trace of it. It just made a mountain."

 

Once he gets there, he immediately notices the ten volumes about the basics of alchemy.

Helianthus challenges a swordsman to a duel.

I walk into Greenhill stronghold.

 

They notice your gaze, walk off to the healer, and the dome appears again.
"Another mixed fighter. I look forward to this. Magic allowed?" They ask, drawing a rapier.

 

"I just saw the mountain. I think you must have found the exact location, and it realised you knew that."
I fly back towards the location.

Enqo starts reading the first volume.

 

"Sure." Helianthus says.

I approach one of the guards and say, "I would like to meet the captains. I have something I must notify them of."

The first volume is seemingly a common alchemical handbook. Except that it's been stretched out a bit. It has what you'd expect in the basics.

 

"Let's see if the others get more advanced..."
He reads through the others to see if they contain any interesting information.

 

The second volume is about alchemical terms, the third one about different treasures and interesting items related to Alchemy. The rest are about things like combinations, histories, theories, tools, et cetera.

 

Enqo looks through the theories.

 

Keila points right where she thought it was.
"Here, I think."

His bow suddenly cracks with electricity, but his blade doesn't seem to have any infusion.
"I could just stand here and electrocute you, but that wouldn't take any skill. Let's see what you've got first, human."

They part and gesture towards the captain's quarters.

 

They are mostly theories on new elements, locations of treasures and the like. Some of these you've seen, others you've never seen.

Helianthus nods, and then shoots his crossbow while running around in a circle.

I walk into the captain's quarters.

 

It seems standard for your opponent to keep you in front of them. Yours, however, doesn't budge as they block your arrows.
You can see them reaching for an arrow behind their back.

"Oh? Hello, Terrae."
"Please pardon us... we weren't expecting you."
"What do you need from us?"

 

"By my decree, Greenhill Stronghold is now officially free from all taxes." I say, before leaving and going back outside the stronghold.

Helianthus instantly charges the draconian, sword held out for a good slash.

 

"Yes, I can sense it now. I'm going to access the spell. Keep an eye out in case it tries to do something."
I open my tome, flick through the pages and then start chanting.

Enqo looks at the theories about the new elements.

 

A specific one stands out. It seems to be a theory on creating an element that is powerful enough to create massive damage and powerbuildings. A note by Terrae says, "Plutonium. Do not try to create."

 

Enqo shudders. "I wouldn't want to see something like that."
He goes back to the third volume and looks at the items it shows.

 

Immediately, Enqo notices the Philosipher's stone. Other items include what Enqo would expect: books, flasks, test tubes, cauldrons, rocks, and all the rest.

 

Enqo looks at the information for the Philosopher's Stone.

 

Keila nearly stares down where the spell is, seeing if it's trying anything.

"Thank you, sir."
"Safe travels."

...Well, you're outside the stronghold again.

He parries your attack, still largely standing in place.

 

A wisp of magic appears, which makes a sound suspiciously like a sigh.
The ground shakes as mountains start appearing in the gap where they used to be.
I stop chanting. Keila can almost feel the air vibrate around her as a telepathic conversation starts between me and the spell.

 

Keila uses careful earthquakes to keep the spell from hiding much.
