"There's something funny about not being narcoleptic when you don't sleep at all."
Pause.
"'You' as in 'I'."
I clarify.

 

"Oh. Ok." Abigail says, rather confused.

 

"When I'm included on the subject of narcolepsy, I find it funny because I don't sleep. Even though you were making the point that I'm not narcoleptic. I don't know, I just might have a strange sense of humor."
I attempt to clarify even more.

 

Abigail just gives you an incredibly confused look.

 

"Never mind."
I say, then lay back down.

 

...that isn't very far.
Your opponent laughs.
"You want to call it match? You're hurtin' pretty bad, human."

"You should get a boyfriend that doesn't suck. Artemis seems so much happier than you." Ihra says, smiling as she sees your shadow asleep with his partner.

Rineth lets out a quiet but slowly echoing snore, and Ihra laughs in response.

 

"I think getting a boyfriend in the first place is the main priority, Ihra." Abigail says, slightly offended.

 

"Oh please. Nobody needs a Nathan." Ihra replies, a bit of sympathy in her voice.

 

"I hate him." Abigail mutters, crossing her arms.

 

"Which is why I hope you find a boyfriend that doesn't suck! And kill Nathan, too. If he hurts my friends, he may as well die like the Hive Master for all I care." Ihra says, hugging Abigail.

 

"I'd rather just torture him to death." Abigail says, hugging Ihra back.

 

"Oh, you think the Hive Master's going out without getting a piece of my mind?" Ihra chuckles.

 

"I guess we've both been horribly affected by boys then, haha." Abigail says jokingly.

 

"It's sad that not everyone is good. Makes my life harder, but... I guess if you get lucky you can be as happy as Artemis."

 

"She's lucky." Abigail says, a slight sadness in her voice.

 

"You'll find yours, I promise. We'll help!" Ihra says, trying to cheer her up.

 

"Heh, thanks..." Abigail says.

 

"Each thing has it's own character. If it makes your daughters happy, then you should do it. Anyway, I'm going to start searching to the west. I might have made it as far away from Fellak or the mines as possible."

"Yes, please. Do you write many books?"

 

"Yes. Most of them are informational."

"Still got one punch left in me." Helianthus says, charging in for a punch, and then stopping at the last minute to kick the draconian.

 

"Fair point. I'll check Lisa's path of eaten rocks for rings of dust."

Keila goes and checks around Max as he continues eating the rocks around him.

They block it easily, then make a signal to the healer.
Your wounds close, and the sphere around the battlefield dispels. He offers you his claw tohelp you up.
"Hard to fight when disarmed, but I admit you're scarier with that crossbow than I'd like."
