Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

A lucky shot goes into his side, but the robe seems to have mitigated most of the damage.
Now driven by adrenaline, he charges you wildly, both sets of chains swinging at you.

One of them lands a shallow cut on your right leg, but the rest of his attacks are tangled up around your broadsword.

 

Helianthus swings his sword wildly, attempting to either dislodge the chains and throw the draconian to the ground.

OOC: It's just his normal ice sword, btw.

 

You get nowhere between the two of you trying to throw the other off balance, but he lets go of one chain and plunges another dagger into your shoulder.

 

Enqo thinks for a moment.
"Maybe you could use some sort of device that allows your miners to work while not dying? In other words, they wouldn't breathe in the gas."

"I'm ready."
He flies north (he was already out of the caves) towards the Shrouded Peaks.

 

Keila follows, Iruk waving to you as you fly overhead.

 

I wave back, before continuing to fly north.
We go over Runetrel, the plains and eventually reach the gap where most of the Shrouded Peaks mountain range should be.

 

Max is still eating rubble, loud snores audible from a fair distance.

 

Helianthus grunts and attempts to strike the other chain.

"Safety is not a priority. Everyone is liable to die by simply BEING in The Wastelands. They knew what they were in for when they decided to live in The Wastelands." I explain.

 

It's just laying on the floor.
He grabs your good arm and starts digging his claws into your arm.

 

Helianthus attempts to kick the draconian in the stomach, and then starts backing off.

 

"Okay, now we have to try to find the place I created it. While I'll be the only one to sense it, there are other ways to find it. If you suddenly see an exact circle in whatever is left of the rubble, possibly even dust, disappear before you, it's there. If it thinks you are on to something, it will try to make you think it isn't there."

"But won't the slimes just keep coming back here?"

I appear next to Artemis.

"I'm back!" I announce happily.

 

"If it's edible, you'll have to get to it before Max." Keila chuckles.

This startles Ihra awake.
"Mnnhuh? Aj?" She groans, sitting up.

 

"I fought a dragon, and killed it, then saved a bunch of baby dragons, and Eras was there." I say happily.

"Aww, how nice of you!" Artemis says happily.

 

Ihra hugs you.
"That's the less genocidal demon I know!" She says happily.

 

"I still won't hesitate to remove a race off the face of the universe!" I say happily, hugging Ihra back.

 

"Apparently if it's not mine." Ihra smiles.

Iruk looks at you confused.
"Shadows are genocidal? I thought they were natural."

 

"It's basically a name we were given which we've run with because we cause so much bloodshed; "Genocidal Demons"" I say.

 

"So it's more of a running gag that's stuck. Strange. I hope you don't find my queries insulting; I mean nothing by them." Iruk says, slight nervousness in his voice.
"He's not going to turn on us." Ihra says, hugging you a bit more before pulling back.

"I see Hythania and Anna... I think we're ready to go...

I draw Shadow Katana, "Hopefully, evil enough to be a snack for the road." I say.

Artemis grabs my arm, "I think that's Matthew, the person I sensed."

"Do you think I can wake him up by setting him on fire?" Abigail asks, butting in.
