Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Alright then." Helianthus says, going into the training room and looking for anyone willing to spar.

 

There's half a dozen draconians watching you, all of them holding their weapons ready.

 

Helianthus randomly picks one of them and draws his sword.

 

The one you chose spins their daggers and gestures to go over to the healer, walking towards her themselves.

 

Helianthus nods, and goes to the healer.

 

The healer prepares the arena, and the other draconians nearby stop to watch.

Your opponent keeps spinning his daggers, staring at you.

"Go." The healer shouts.

 

Helianthus immediately pulls out his crossbow with his left hand and fires it at the Draconian.

 

They flip their dagger, cutting the tip of the bolt off, knocking it aside, and letting the wood bounce harmlessly off them.
...before throwing several daggers to your left and right, slowly adjusting the angle to pinch you with the flying blades.

 

Helianthus starts backing off, sword held defensively. He sheaths his crossbow.

 

"You have a point. Yawn.." Matthew lays down and starts to sleep in the grass, "Wake me up in a few minutes, I haven't slept for a week-" He falls asleep before he finishes his sentence.

 

The daggers start to deflect off your broadsword.
"You permitting magic, human?"
Several daggers pulled from his robe lock together to form a bladed chain.

You feel yourself dragged onto something gently before entering a deep sleep.

 

"Tch." Helianthus says, "My other body would've handled magic better." He then makes his sword glow bright. He continues his defensive stance, backing off and keeping his sword held defensively.

 

"Yes or no. Not a hard question." They grunt, preparing a second chain.

 

"That's a yes." Helianthus says, charging the draconian and aiming for a stab.

 

"Is there anything else they seem to be attracted to?"

I say to Keila (and Rina?), "Okay, let's go to the Shrouded Peaks... why do I have a feeling there's a reason we always have to go there?"

 

"Just that."

 

A gust of wind throws you off to the side, but the draconian misses his swing.

Rina's outside.
"Sure. I'll have Rina stand watch over Aurilon, then I and Lisa will help in your search. We'll depart whenever you're ready."

 

Helianthus gets up and charges the draconian again.

 

As you get up, he hooks your broadsword with one of his chains and twists your arm while throwing it off to the side.

Probably want to reconsider charging.

 

Helianthus starts backing off towards his sword, drawing his crossbow and shooting at the draconian with it. When Helianthus gets to his sword, he picks it up and holds it defensively.
