Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"You can call on me as a friend, just don't try and summon me; not that it'd work." I say, smiling.

 

"Noted. So... You going to look for food or wait to help the survivors out?"

 

"I was planning on helping the survivors. I already have some food." I say, summoning a raw steak.

 

"That works. Wait for Keila to head down and see if Eras is still okay."

 

"Was there any problems he could have run into?" I ask.

 

"He was in caverns. We could've caused flooding, a cave in, an eruption via fault line..."

 

"Hmm, well, I guess we should search him out then." I say.

 

"It's all underground. Hopefully the wind dragons we were trying to save weren't collateral."

 

"Yeah...that'd be kind of annoying." I say.

 

"Less annoying, more embarrasing."

 

I nod, "That's true. I guess there's some sweet irony to killing the things you're trying to save." I say.

 

"Best course of action, but from what I heard it feels like a part of you is missing." Helianthus says, "And I can't have that distracting me."

 

"Pretty sure it's only sweet if you're a shadow. Still, yes. It is ironic."

"It's only that way if you do it wrong. We can fill it in with false memories."

 

"Well, let's get going!" I say, standing up ready.

 

'Well I hope everyone got out alive, probably not but, it's ok too dream. Especially sense population in most countries are declining, and it doesn't help that there was a huge crisis. Damn... Ive had it good." Matthew stops to think. "And me and my mom are the last Emeraldonians. And she hates me..." Matthew looks up and sees a glistening lake, "Oh hey, I think we're here."

 

"Err... there's a slight problem. I don't see how I can free you."

There is a man in with dark robes and a black cloak standing near a wyvern, a metallic dragon... and a weird creature which is drooling along the beach?
"There you are! We need to leave soon. The others have already gone back to Rineth and are ready to leave. And something happened a while ago. I felt Eras use some powerful magic he hasn't used... well, I wasn't even alive the last time he used it."
Hythania says, "Okay, we'll leave then."
The man turns to you and says, "Who might you be? I'm Daras."

 

"At this point though there's no going back. I've already sworn alleigance to The Misstress."

The man just continues screaming and yelling for help.

 

In a last attempt to help, Enqo tries to undo whatever is holding them.

 

It seems he can't. The bodies are being held down by rocks and other bodies. It's too tangled to clean up.

He then goes further into the mines to see if he can find anything.
