Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"They'll attack you until you're wounded, and if once wounded, everything will see you as a meal. Please, Helianthus, I beg you don't go out there. If you do, I'd rather report the bitter news to the queen than follow you."

 

OOC: Its ok, we all slip up once in a while, like today I forgot I had Gamers Club, and had to run my but back to school. Not fun btw.

"Yeah. Guess there all dead now? Haven't had a fight in months. Feels great!" Matthew extends his hand to greet them, "My name is Matthew, Matthew Drevur. Nice to meet you!"

 

"Yes, it's only the ocean monster. There isn't anything else attacking us."

"Strange... could be some sort of monster. But I can only know if I go in there. I'm guessing you want me to find out what is causing all this?"

"Yes, they're dead."
The woman shakes your hand.
"I'm Hythania. Nice to meet you too."
The girl then shakes your hand.
"And I'm Idala. Nice to meet you!"

 

"I'll have my daughter watch for it."

"Eras, you're sure there aren't any more?"

 

Katie lets out gasps as she watches, clearly engrossed with the show.

 

"Very well. I shall return to the palace." Helianthus says, turning around and walking back.

"Yes." I say.

 

"Thank you. I will wait for your return outside the palace. I am forbidden from entering."

 

Helianthus nods, and makes his way back to the palace.

 

"Thank you."

"I still have a lot of the island to check. I found some dead Wind Dragons in one cave. They haven't been eaten, so they died of starvation. I still have about half of the island to check. There are still no signs of the monster."

"Then I will search the mines for you."

 

"Alright then. I'll just let the group know I'm leaving." I say, walking around to look for the group.

I walk around to look for the group.

 

"Some of your kind terrorized my people in desperation. It's only right I help."

"It's ocean dwelling. Sorry to be impatient."

The guards don't budge as they see you walk back, hours later.

It doesn't take long to see Rineth. Most of the group is already on his back.

 

Helianthus walks back to the library.
-Overworld-
I walk up to Rineth and say, "Please notify the group that I shall not be joining them in the return."

 

Kyle seems to be in there as well. He waves at you when he notices you enter.

"That's fine; we expected you to be busy. Safe travels, Terrae." Rineth responds calmly.

 

I walk over to him.
"Took a trip to the outside of the palace." Helianthus says, getting a book and opening it.

"You as well." I say, before heading back.

I return back to the ruins and look around for the ghost.

A big ear is now protruding from Crystal's rock blob.

Faux-Katie then climbs up the ice she made, and jumps onto the tail. She then slowly makes her way up to the top of the dragon, using ice to keep her footing when the dragon thrashes.
She eventually reaches the head of the dragon, and freezes her feet to the top of the dragons head.
She then summons something that looks like it could be an ice blade, but it's almost hard to tell, because it's so small. Faux-Katie then crouches down, and puts the blade gently to the center of the dragon's head. Faux-Katie then looks up, straight towards the real Katie.
"Slay or nay?"
An almost-familiar voice says.
Crystal creates a mouth and smiles.
"Your choice."

 

"They did? I'm sorry for that. We aren't usually hostile, unless someone seems hostile towards us, but these are very strange circumstances."

"I'll check the rest of the island for any other surviving Wind Dragons first. There must be at least a few more still alive somewhere..."

OOC: Enqo.

The ghost is standing in the centre of the market where you left him.

 

I approach Enqo.

"Alright, I'm ready Enqo. Just tell me when you are and I'll open up a portal."

 

With a look of disappointment, Katie gives a thumbs down.

"Off with their heads!" Katie shouts.

 

Faux-Katie then looks back down the the dragon, which is now thrashing wildly. The blade she is holding now becomes longer, and she makes her way down towards the neck of the dragon. Once she makes it there, she raises the sword dramatically, and then swings it down upon the dragon's neck. As a final, dying breath, the dragon lets out an immense roar. The blade cuts through the neck, decapitating the beast, and the head falls to the ground, and the body does too. Faux-Katie lands on what's left of the neck, bending her knees as she lands gracefully.
The dragon and its head sink back into Crystal, and in a triumphant pose, so does Faux-Katie.

 

Katie claps, clearly happy at the show.
