"I was hoping if you could check out a mine for me. There's been some unusual things going on down there, and no one is allowed to enter because of toxic gas."

OOC: My wifi decided to be a jerk today. So that happened. and I also am just gonna wait until @Devourer replies to dis:

 

"The forest can't detect them, I thought, since they aren't technically alive."

"Don't you spend time looking around? I'd think you'd notice if there was a clock, calendar, or something..."

 

"True. Better stay on lookout, then."

 

"Not really, I spend my time reading or training."

 

"Aren't you worried you'd die before you were sent off on a major battle? Human lives are fleeting, aren't they?"

Stephanie laughs.

A while later, Artemis and I can be seen walking out of thr forest.

 

"I've died already. Like two times. What have I left to lose?"

 

"Well, what kept you so long?" Ihra shouts at you and Artemis.

"If you've died, how are you here?"

 

"Uh, nothing!" I shout back.

"There was a, uh, horde of goblins that, uh, attacked us!" Artemis shouts.

 

Ihra glances at Myria.
"They were making out, weren't they?"

 

"Most likely." Myria says calmly.

"So where are we going?" I say, having walked over with Artemis.

 

"We were thinking we could take a look at the draconian city set up near the Brisingr border."

 

"Oh, awesome." I say happily.

"I guess that works for Abigail and Aj then." Artemis says happily, smiling at me.

 

"Yeah. I'd like to catch up with Sarin as well, if possible."

 

"Sarin?" I ask.

 

"My chrono friend; remember? No? Doesn't matter. I'll know her when I see her."

 

"The only chrono I remember is V-" Artemis covers my mouth before I can continue.

"I'm sure she's a lovely person!" Artemis says hastily.
