Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Iruk opts to catch up with Ihra, who kept walking.

"I'll have another look soon."

"That's concerning... You're sure?"

 

A large vine hand assists Myria with getting back to Ihra.

 

Another fish is thrown out of the water, which the Wind Dragons eat more slowly, but still surprisingly quickly.

"I'm sure I can't find whatever is after them. However, there are lots of places I haven't checked, so there would still be many caves. But from where I am, I can't see a sign of anything large. Oh, another cave...
... no sign of any Wind Dragons in this cave right now, but there have been some. There's some shed skin, but the metal isn't rich in the materials it should have. There are some ores in this cave, but they aren't the sort of metal they usually eat. Wind Dragons don't usually eat gold. It makes them softer and a better target for lightning."

 

"I no longer know. I lose track of time in both the library and in the training room."

"Ah, I see." I say.

"Actually, I have a favor to ask of you."

 

"There doesn't seem to be anything right now, so why panic?"
Crystal shapeshifts again, and if Rineth were to look on his back, then he'd see Crystal's eyes on the side of his head.

 

"I don't know if I will be able to carry it out, but what is it?"

 

Rineth, now in view, already seems to have a wing lowered as a ramp.
"Hey, Crystal's already up here!" Ihra says, looking up.

"Check more caves. Whatever's after them comes from the ocean."

"Feeling any better? I'll get you to some metals after my comrade checks more caves."

"Aren't there means to check the time? A clock or something?"

"Fair point."

Ihra comes into view, pointing at Crystal as she walks up Rineth's wing.

 

"Ah, excellent!" Myria says happily, carrying Abigail towards Rineth at a quickened pace.

 

Ihra lies down on Rineth once she gets on his back.
"Nothing bad happened, right?"
"You've been in there a couple days, but nothing out of the ordinary out here."

 

"Well, it seems we just need to wait for Katie, Aj, Artemis and the others to arrive." Myria says happily.

 

"I'm gonna take a nap until they get here!"
"Ihra, wait a... and I see why you say she's narcoleptic."

 

Myria laughs.

A short while later, Stephanie flies over on a broom; though she seems to be standing on it rather than sitting. Katie runs along in her wake, quite fast.

"What happened to Abigail?" Stephanie asks, jumping off of her broom.

 

"I don't know. Ihra?"
Rineth pokes her with his tail.
"Ungh..."
"Ihra, what happened to Abigail?"
"She started going pale, then passed out worrying about having Myria after her."

 

"Oh...why's she worried about you?" Stephanie asks Myria, sitting on her broom.

Myria just shrugs.

Katie manages to run over, panting, "Hey...where are...the others?" She asks through breaths.

 

Thirteen's on Rineth already, and Crystal's lying down, with his eyes on the side of his head instead of on the front.
"Hi Katie!"
Crystal smiles cheerfully.

 

"They're coming back soon. They said they'd be a minute."

"Thirteen? Heh, didn't notice you here."

 

OOC: Who's saying this?

 

"Hiya!" Katie says happily; though she's clearly exhausted.

"Oh, awesome!" Katie says, climbing onto Rineth.

"I wonder what's keeping them..." Stephanie says; her broom keeping her slightly above Rineth.

 

OOC: Ihra.

"Knowing that they're a couple, it's not something they should've left to our imagination..." Rineth mutters.

 

"I followed you and Myria."
I say casually.
