"So where are we going next?" Myria asks.

 

Oh sorry,I thought the message was an accpetation. Please inform me when I am accepted/denied.

 

I will start a message with "Accepted" when you are.

Sorry I'm being slow, though. Gonna try to make sure I'm caught up before I go to sleep tonight.

 

"How many of these things are there?" Matthew slices one of the plants in half, "IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!" Just as he finished saying that he gets slammed in the back by the acid ball, "Why you little!"

 

"Ah, and what exactly are you doing research on?"

 

The plants behind you screech triumphantly.
Suddenly, a blast of magic whizzes past you and hits the plants, killing a few of them.
A woman in black robes with traces of silver and a girl in a dark purple dress appear from behind the bushes the first plants came from.
The girl says, "I told you, darker areas of the forest have thousands of these things!"
The woman sighs. "Just distract them. I'll help the person you nearly fried."
She hands you a green phial.
"This is a healing potion. It will help with the acid."

"Many things! I prefer researching time. All sorts of things, like portals, rifts, items connected with it. Being a ghost is far easier! Except for when you want to test unstable potions on yourself. I'm also analysing something Eras gave me long ago. He forgot about it, but I know it still needs to be watched. At least, I was, until it disappeared from where I was hiding it!"

 

"Many of us, me included, don't have one."

"Alright. I'll go head over there; hopefully whatever it is didn't follow us here."

"That doesn't remove the danger of death. Still, I like your confidence."

 

"Farewell, goddess."

"How would you like it if you took a visit to my laboratory? I can get some test subjects for your potions."

"I see. And how did you get here?"

 

"Thanks for the offer, but I don't think many people would handle the potions. It helps to be immortal when you test potions on yourself, but many mortals would easily die. I managed to find better ways to test my potions. Though it was fun drinking a potion knowing you had a 50% chance to explode!"

 

"It's fine. I still have a surplus of prisoners and POWs due for execution. My kingdom has reached the point where unemployment is becoming a large deal because of all the cheap labor. And if the potion somehow turns them into some beast, I'll put a rune on them and trap them in a pocket dimension. Or I could kill them."

 

"I fled after my kind's lair was flooded with a sticky flame. The others were all burned alive..."
It seems to be a touchy memory.

OOC: The Wind Dragons were told to wait at the coast. If they didn't, let me know.

Keila flies off back towards the coast.

 

"Ah, I see." Helianthus says, continuing to walk.

 

"I have testing materials and items I managed to find or create. Some effects from the potions could complicate things. It's best if nobody tries them while I'm using them."

The Wind Dragons are waiting where Keila left them. When Keila appears, they hum gently.

 

"Do you have a name?"

"Here, eat these."
Keila lays two flowers out and eats the third.
"I'll be able to understand you."

 

"Alright then, if you say so." I say, "Can you go through portals?"

"Who deemed you important enough to have a name of your own?"

 

"My parents and myself. I can give you a name if you'd like."

 

"Am I even significant enough for a name?"

 

"Sure, you've helped me a lot."
