Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Katie laughs, bubbles rising to the surface from her mouth, and tries to touch Crystal.

 

Crystal touches the top of each of Katie's fingers joyfully.
Then, Katie can see what looks to be a butterfly wing made out of crystals above her head.

 

Katie smiles, trying to touch to butterfly wing.

 

The butterfly wing is human-sized, so it's actually quite easy to touch.
When she touches it, the wing moves a bit behind her, dragging her finger across the wing.

 

Katie laughs, letting her hand fall back to the lake's bottom.

 

The wing then retracts, and Crystal floats over Katie, seemingly wrapped up in his own self, and looking a bit smaller.
Then, while laying down in the water above Katie, Crystal starts to spin quickly.
About five seconds later, Crystal stops spinning, and at the same time, opens up his wings while looking down at Katie.
The wings are butterfly wings, the same kind that was above Katie earlier.
The light from the sun above shines through them a bit, illuminating them.

 

The water freezes around Katie, before melting. A pair of sharp looking ice wings remain, however, protruding from Katie's back. Katie giggles.

 

"Nice."
Crystal says, smiling.
"What else can you come up with?"

 

"Anything I want, as long as there's enough water to freeze." Katie says happily.

 

"Let's see it then. Show me something creative."
Crystal says, happily.

 

A small ice horse forms in front of Katie, and gallops around Crystal in the water.

 

Crystal retracts his wings and mimics the horse, turning into a relatively small horse, and soaring through the water.

 

Ice forms around the horse, and it turns into a small dragon, flying around the water. Katie laughs happily.

 

Crystal turns into a dragon about the same size as he was when he was a horse, and then proceeds to chase the ice dragon in the water.

 

Katie's ice dragon turns into a large sea urchin, which sinks to the bottom of the lake.

 

Crystal doesn't change this time, and instead decides to snuggle up next to one of the lower spikes on the urchin, careful not to get close to the mouth.

 

The sea urchin suddenly changes into an octopus, and swims away.

 

Crystal goes back towards Katie, sits on the ground, and curls up.

 

Katie closes her eyes, the octopus melting, and falls asleep.

 

Crystal goes closer to Katie, curls up again, and almost falls asleep, but stays awake a little bit.
