"Wow. You have to have some really good friends to do that."
Crystal says cheerfully.

 

"Yeah, they're all pretty awesome. I think you'll like them," Katie says, "Oh, Abigail can be a bit rude sometimes, but I don't think she really means it."

 

"Good to know. Aside from Artemis and Aj, who obviously have powers, do your other friends have powers too?"

 

"Yeah, all of them except Stephanie. Though, I think she sort of does have powers because she knows magic? She's just a normal human though, so she doesn't have any natural powers." Katie says.

 

"Oh, cool! Does she have a specialty in a certain type of magic? I think a lot of humans do that instead of learning a lot of magic."

 

"I'm not sure, she knows a lot of magic types; but she's good at voodoo, alchemy and golemancy." Katie says.

 

"Then she might know more about golems, and me! Good to know."
Crystal smiles.

 

"Yeah! You certainly don't seem like a lot of golem's I've seen though; you seem almost...sentient." Katie says.

 

"Well, I was never controlled by anyone, if that information helps."

 

"That's strange. How did you come to be?" Katie asks.

 

"From what I know, something just saw a bunch of crystals on an island, set up shop inside some, created me, taught me what I was along with some magic, and now it's gone and I'm still here."
Crystal shrugs.
"That's my side of the story, anyways."

 

"What was the force that brought you to life? Was it a Shadow or Light creature?" Katie asks.

 

"Not sure. It never taught me any light or dark magic. Just elemental magic, and then some other types of magic. I learned to light up my eyes on my own."

 

"Maybe it was you from a past life!" Katie says.

 

"That sure raises some big questions."

 

"Well, I like you as you are. Golem or human, I think you're a nice being." Katie says, smiling.

 

"Thanks. Speaking of what something is, is 'water guardian' what you are? It simply seems a bit weird."

 

"Water or Aqua works. Guardians are elemental protectors, and we're named after the element we signify. There's Water, Fire, Air, Earth, Forest and Death Guardians." Katie says.

 

"Yet no Life Guardians? Or do forest guardian take that role?"

 

"Forest Guardians are Life Guardians, but they prefer to be called Forest Guardians as they inhabit and protect forests." Katie says, smiling.
