"Err... right. Still, you're practically wearing a metal sheet. Kudos to you for the strength it takes to wear it."

The funny thing is, it's the most comfortable robe you've ever felt, it's not much heavier than the typical robe, and it's flexible enough that it may as well be cloth.

 

"Yep. I'm the strongest person ever. Must have forgot to mention it, sorry."

 

"Interesting mage... Good luck, don't get torched."

 

"So... This place foreign to sarcasm? The robe is actually light. Also, not getting torched sounds good, thanks."

 

I play it safe and enter the inn. Feeling a bit tired, I order a coffee. After handing the money and getting the coffee, I drink. While drinking, I look out the window for the doctor.

 

"R-really? I wasn't kidding. They make those out of metals!"

You see his cart leaving town outside the window.

"Sir? Do you want a room for the night?"

 

"No, I'll be fine." I say. I walk out the bar and exit through the city gates to follow the cart.

 

The guards give you funny looks, but let you pass.

"You made it. Any troubles?"

 

Sgavrinn, noticing this happened, smiles at the pair and eventually tries to carry both of you. (Albeit it takes him quite a while to notice)

 

I start laughing.

"Aw, thanks Sgavrinn!" Artemis says happily.

"Sorry about stealing your ride, Ragnyon, haha." I say through laughter.

 

"It was never mine." She says with a gentle, tired smile.

 

"No. I decided to be safe and stayed in the bar for a couple minutes. How about you?"

 

"I needed help with getting the crate up on the cart, but kudos to your friend for being silent. I passed him off as machinery, but unfortunately, I think he's lying a bit sideways back there."

 

"Sorry, I just didn't want any of us to get caught. I figured that if just you were there, they wouldn't ask any questions." I say. I start to help Opal out of his crate.

 

"You look a little tired. Do you need some rest?" I ask.

"I could knock you unconscious, if you wanted," Artemis says, "I mean, without the pain of whacking you over the head, that is."

 

"Good call, I didn't think of that."

Prying the lid off, Opal crawls out sideways.
"I've had better days..." He mutters.

"Just a little sleep. I worry about Myria, though. I thought she'd come on Rineth."

 

"I'm sure Mother can handle herself." Artemis says, though doubt in her voice. Artemis' hands begin to glow, and Ragnyon starts to feel sleepier and sleepier.

 

"I hope... hope so..."
Sgavrinn turns to pick up her staff as she drops it in her sleep.

"Artemis? Why didn't she come?" Sgavrinn asks, concerned.

 

"I'm not sure. I don't understand Mother." Artemis says, worried.

There's a slight roar in the distance.

 

Rineth turns to see what it might be.

"Didn't she teach you stuff, though?"
