Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Claire growls before putting you on her back next to Keila.

"No? Please? Help me up?!"

 

"Do you need some kelp?" I ask, finger gunning yet again.

 

"Aj, shut up and help me stand up!" Ragnyon growls.

 

"Jeez, alright, don't be such a beach. I suggest you get a better attitide." I say, predictably finger gunning twice before jumping down and helping Ragnyon stand.

 

Ragnyon remains silent.
"Thanks." She mutters.
"Artemis, could I borrow Sgavrinn again?"

 

"Oh, sure thing." Artemis says, whistling to Sgavrinn.

 

He comes down and puts Ragnyon on his back.
"Thanks, Artemis."

 

"No problem!" Artemis says happily.

 

I sit and talk with him for a few more hours until 11:00.

 

It's a boring conversation, but at 11:00, you excuse yourself.

You can see the doctor's wagon coming in outside of town.

 

I tail the wagon.

 

"Adawal... I forgot the end. Is that you?" Opal whispers.

 

"Yet you are not physically a dog." I reply.

"Oh, the group is moving. Finally."

I teleport over to right beside Daras.

"Are there any interesting plants around here?"

 

I say quietly so he can barely hear me, "Adawalae. Yes."

 

"Talk to the doctor. Ride with him up front."

 

I look around to make sure nobody is eavesdropping, then go to the driver. I slide up next to him. "Is it going well?" I ask.

 

"Yep, I got my load checked by the guards. They didn't suspect a thing. A little coin and they're making sure nobody watches us enter the hospital. I'm bringing in a valuable medicine, so I was able to pass it as a security measure."
He smiles at you.
"Your friend will make it. The poison's already treated, and I'll be able to patch him up long enough that hopefully you'll find a mage who knows healing magic."

 

"Thanks." I say. "I used to know a skilled magical healer..." I say, thinking of my tribe. "He's long gone now though. Any suggestions on where I could find one?"

 

"In the Dark Script, names are almost always words which people like, so there weren't really any common names. Ijeefo? That means hidden. Or Tfesfu? That means secret. Or Votfo? That's unseen."

OOC: This guy reminds me of Murtagh from the Eragon book series.

"That's the forest surrounding the Birthlake."

"There are lots of unique plants around the Birthlake itself. The forest is overgrown with them because of the magic from the lake."

 

"Ah. Perhaps I can take samples and do experiments. Do you have any flower pots?"
