Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Sgavrinn nuzzles Artemis, trying to comfort her.

 

Artemis keeps crying, "Th-Thanks, S-Sgavrinn." She says.

Sgavrinn feels a presence nearby.

 

He ignores it, hugging Artemis.

 

I appear next to Artemis.

"Artemis? What's wrong?" I ask.

"A-Aj?" Artemis asks, looking up, before suddenly hugging me.

I hug Artemis, trying to comfort her as best I can.

"I m-missed you s-so much!" Artemis says, hugging tighter.

 

"You destroyed them completely?"

"Oh... okay. No, I am definitely not going to do that again... I'm only here because I wanted to show Ihra the Birthlake."

 

Sgavrinn sniffs at you, then hums happily.
"I told you he'd be okay!"

"Thank you... Maybe you could tell her this time?"
"Actually, could we go, too? We never could since... You know..."

 

"What's so funny?"
I ask, not amused at all.

 

"I'm so h-happy he's here." Artemis says to Sgavrinn.

I gently stroke Artemis' hair, "It's ok, Artemis. I'm here for you." I say, continuing to hug Artemis.

Artemis keeps hugging me for a long while.

"It's just, haha, HAHAHAHAHA!" Shadow Stephanie laughs too much to be able to speak properly.

 

I simply ignore Shadow Stephanie, and reach out a hand to help Stephanie off the ground.
"Feeling better by now?"
I ask her.

 

"Yeah, thanks, Thirteen." Stephanie says, getting up.

"Ah, why's my hand...ow..." Stephanie says, looking at her burnt hand.

 

"Dominus struck it with lighting after you lifted him up and 'offered him to the gods'. As I said, Shadow Stephanie had a lot of fun."

 

"Maybe you could get Aj to help Shadow Stephanie calm down?" Sgavrinn asks Artemis.

 

"I...don't remember that. Didn't he know I was possessed?" Stephanie asks.

"Ok, I'll try." Artemis responds.

"Um, Aj, do you think you could get Shadow Stephanie to calm down?" Artemis asks, pulling away from me.

"Oh, yeah sure." I say, walking over to Shadow Stephanie.

"Ahaha, oh, h-hey Aj. Nice to have you, heh, back." Shadow Stephanie says.

"Were you standing in my place?" I ask.

"Yeah, haha, Artemis was worried. I guess I can go now though, right?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

"Yup. Thanks for looking after the others for me." I say, smiling.

"Heh, yeah, sure. See ya." Shadow Stephanie says, before disappearing.

 

"That was easy." Ihra mutters.
"I knew you'd be fine." She says, suddenly cheery.

 

"Thanks, Ihra. How's it been whilst I've been almost dead? Where even are we, and where's Abigail and Myria?" I ask.

 

"Perhaps, but he didn't like you doing that either way. So he stuck you with lightning."

"Looking after us. Yeah..."
I mumble.

 

"Abigail? I dunno. I thought Myria was still on Rineth. We're at the Lost Kingdom right now. Try not to scare Keila or her daughters.

...Keila's laying on the ground with her face in the sand.

 

Stephanie takes a crystal out of her cloak, removing the makeshift icepack and putting it in her burnt hand. Stephanie's hand begins to heal.

"Uh, is Keila the one face-down in the sand?" I ask, looking over at Keila.

 

"Glad you're feeling better. I hope she didn't violate you in any other way. And not sexually, I know she wouldn't do that."
I hold her hand lightly.

 

"Whoa, what?" Stephanie asks, caught off guard.
