Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Depends. And please, the old 'knife in the arm backstab' trick is ridiculously common." I reply, rolling my eyes.

I disappear and re-appear a few meters away from Stephanie.

 

Stephanie gives you a twisted smile, licking one of her daggers.

"KILL." Stephanie says with a demented tone.

 

I roll my eyes.
"Why don't you go run off into the forest or something and look for an animal or two to hunt. That'll probably calm down your bloodlust."

 

"She found something she liked."
In the distance, you see something moving along the ocean towards the island.

 

Stephanie disappears, rather ominously.

Footprints in the sand appear towards you, almost looking like they're running. They stop in front of you.

 

I disappear and reappear next to Daras.

"Ah, I see. Well, I don't want to be wasting time playing tag with the bloodlust one. Can you start the tour?" I ask, gesturing to the footprints.

 

Multiple pairs of footprints run towards you from different directions.

 

I take no notice of these footprints.

 

You feel something grab you from behind.

 

I telport rapidly backwards and forwards, ending an inch in front of where I was.
"And what is it you want?" I ask, unfazed.

 

"Err... what is happening with those footprints?"

 

You find yourself lifted off the ground, and Stephanie appears, holding you above her head and laughing.

 

"Her." I say, gesturing to Stephanie.

I roll my eyes.
"Alright, you've had your fun. May you please put me down? We're wasting time here with this silliness." I say, still unfazed.

 

Large, sharp looking footprints appear in the ground, headed toward you and Stephanie.

"I OFFER THIS GOD AS SACRIFICE!" Stephanie shouts.

 

"Please, people have done that to me one too many times. It didn't end well for them." I reply.
Lightning strikes Stephanie's hand.
"Now, why don't you let go of me?" I ask calmly.

 

Stephanie drops you as her hand gets struck by lightning.

"Ow! I was just messing around!" Stephanie says, tearing up.

 

"Maybe you should have told me that so I could play along." I say, summoning a small block of ice and a towel.
"Place the ice over the burn, and hold it down with the towel. That's what I've been told should be done." I say, handing both items to Stephanie.

 

Tears run down Stephanie's face as she puts ice on her burn.

"Why do you have to be so mean!?" Stephanie asks, crying.

 

"Because if I am not, then people will backstab me. I have made that mistake before in my first days of conquering worlds. Never again shall I allow that to happen." I say, gritting my teeth with anger.

"Never again."

 

Stephanie keeps crying, shaking and crying more as she presses the ice on her burn.

"Ow...ow ow ow..." Stephanie says in pain.
