"What? No! I'm just visiting your lovely island! I'm friends with Aria, do you know her?" Katie says happily.

Stephanie gives you a thumbs up.

 

He hits a buzzer, and another draconian comes out of a back room and picks up the harnesses.
"Have a nice day, miss."
The draconian stays close to you, carrying the harnesses.
"Where do you need these?"

"Oh... Why the weapon, then?"
All tensions vanish.

 

"Some island to the west of here. I can probably teleport back there."

 

"I'm unable to teleport, sorry."

 

"Oh, well just in case I get ambushed!" Katie says, smiling.

 

"Nobody's armed here, miss Katie. I would rest easy if I were you!"

 

"I have no idea how you're supposed to cross the sea of lava to the west, then..."

 

"Flight."

 

"Draco-humans can fly? I mean, of course they can, let's go." She teleports down the path to the west gate.

 

"Oh, ok. I like to keep my trident close though, it holds sentimental value." Katie says.

 

The draconian flies over to the gate.

"It's alright. Where are you headed?"

 

"I wanted to meet Aria's mother, if you know where she is?" Katie asks.

 

"The goddess? I'd try the shrine."

I observe the progression of Rineth's descent.

 

"Oh, ok!" Katie says, "Thanks for the help!"

Katie runs off in the direction of the shrine.

 

His tail is dragging in the water. He's trying to slow himself down.

Once you get to the shrine, it's silent. Except for one other person.

A girl in a white dress seems to have been waiting for Katie.
"You wanted to see mother?" She whispers.

 

"Um, yes," Katie says quietly. A geyser erupts next to her, which freezes her trident within. Katie raises her hands and tries to look as non-threatening as possible, "I bring no harm."

 

The girl shows a lance, then rests it in a slot in the wall.
"She's busy at the moment. Please, give her a moment."

 

"Oh, alright." Katie says, sitting down.

 

The ornate designs of the shrine catch the sunlight, and thus, your attention.
Three beasts are depicted along with decorative engravings spiraling upwards. They meet at a central point.
"She'll be done soon, she's just... A bit busy fearing for her life."
