Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Elyra goes into into the changing room and puts on the silver robe, then goes over to the harness stall. She'd try to reach out to the mage from before telepathetically. "How many harnesses did you need?"

 

Katie gets off of Kai and starts swimming toward Aurilon on her own.

Stephanie keeps hugging you, sighing happily.

 

I smile, and slowly start to let go of Stephanie.

 

Stephanie slowly lets go too, smiling at you.

 

"Three should suffice."
The robe is surprisingly soft. Light reflects off it somewhat.

There's a shrine, a farming community, and a village/small town. That's about it.

 

"We may have just creeped everyone else out, but I don't think you care, do you."
I whisper to Stephanie, before backing up a little.

 

Katie gets out of the water and starts looking around for people.

"Nope." Stephanie says, giggling.

 

"Right, so I need three dragon harnesses..." She'd say to the harness merchant.

 

There are farmers and a few townspeople walking about.
There are also two people walking to town from the shrine.

 

I smile, then look up to the sky to see if Rineth might be nearby.

 

"Alright, then... I assume you'll also need help carrying them. Can you afford them?"

He's visible in the distance, descending.

 

"And in comes the esteemed guest."
I say to the group.

 

Katie runs as fast as she can toward the pair, trying to look as non-threatening as possible with her trident, which she forgot to leave with Kai.

 

The two freeze when they see the weapon, both putting their hands up and trembling.

He appears to be aiming to make a water landing.

"Heads up. Rineth might accidentally make the equivalent of a tsunami."
I say to Stephanie, before shooting up far into the sky.

 

"This enough?" She places the metal filings on the... Again, wherever we are.

 

"Hi! My name's Katie! It's nice to meet you!" Katie says happily, extending a hand for a handshake.

 

He's slowing down a bit, but not enough to not make a really big wave.

"Hmm... A bit short, but I take it you spent something on that robe. I'll call it enough this time since you seem to be a new face. Do you need help carrying the gear out?"
The shopkeeper takes the bag off the counter.

"You... you aren't here to kill us?"
One of them nervously accepts the handshake.

 

"Sure."

 

I stop ascending.
