"Depends. Which robe here is your best?"

 

"Depends on the color you like. Come in and take a look."

There's a wide variety of colors; it'd be easier to ask for a specific color.

 

"Ehm... Silver?"

 

"Sure. Here, this looks your size!"
The shopkeeper hands you a silver robe with no engravings. It's a bit heavy for a robe.

 

"Oh. Well, then okay."
I pat her on the back.
"That settles that, I guess."

 

"Do you guys not make like... Light silver? Something less crushing?"

 

Stephanie hugs you tightly, smiling.

 

"What do you mean? Oh, the weight? It's just the fabric."

 

I continue to hug her back.

 

The waters calm after a while, and an island becomes visible.
"This is my home. Welcome to Aurilon."

 

"Well alright then... Does this cover the cost?" She puts the metal filings on the merchant stand (or wherever we are)

 

Stephanie keeps hugging. She doesn't seem like she'll let go anytime soon.

"Wow! Cool!" Katie says happily.

 

I keep embracing her, but lighter than before.
I also rest my chin on her shoulder.

 

Stephanie rests her chin on your shoulder too, enjoying the embrace.

 

"You don't need nearly all that! Here, this is a fair price."
She takes about a spoonful of the metal out of the bag, then cuts a tag off the robe.
"All yours!"

Kai surfaces, and a quaint village rests on the island.
The only metal thing is a shrine.

 

I rub her back for a bit.

 

"Thanks." Elyra smirks and takes the metal filings and the robe, looking if there's anything else that might be of use for sale.

 

"So that's where you live?" Katie asks.

Stephanie massages your back lightly.

"This is nice." Stephanie says quietly.

 

"Have a nice day, miss!"

There are some tomes, basic weapons, changing rooms, and various harnesses.

"Yes. This is Aurilon, maybe the most peaceful place here. The shrine is where you may be able to meet mother."

 

"Incredibly."
I softly say in agreement.
