Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Mhmm, thanks, dragon-humans." She teleports up to the top of the steps.

 

They nod.

The staircase is lit, and goes down about two stories before leading out to a path.

 

"Well, we can go to the Wild Islands after this if you want. Not with Ihra though; it's far too dangerous for her. In fact, it might be very dangerous."

"We should wait for Rineth. After all, I was offering this to Ihra wasn't I?"

"I don't see how else they got out again."

"You've probably already tried lots of ways to heal it, but the Birthlake has powerful healing properties. I spent a while inside it and it made me heal quicker."
He cuts his finger with his knife. The wound heals after a few seconds.
"You could try using it, though I don't know why wounds wouldn't heal."

 

"Right."

 

Elyra teleports down to the bottom of the steps, and if uninterrupted, would start walking down the path.

 

"Neither do I; I killed them all."

"I guess it's worth a shot, but we've tried just about everything."

 

Stephanie hugs you suddenly, crying.

"Does it h-have evil monsters I can s-slaughter?" Stephanie asks through tears.

 

The path leads straight to a marketplace and branches off to housing areas and workshops.

 

Elyra teleports to the marketplace.

 

I hug her back, but lightly.
"Are you sure you're okay?"

 

"Other than seeing, can you see things another way?"

"We'll wait for Ihra and Rineth to arrive, then we'll go there."

"Err... depends on what you mean by evil. They attack any outsiders. Some really are evil too. I wouldn't attack too many though, otherwise they might all try to kill you."

 

There are several stalls, many with things you've never seen before.

There's dragon harnesses you notice, but there's also armor and robes.
Pretty much everyone there is a draconian.

"I just wanna kill stuff..." Stephanie says through tears.

Stephanie brightens up, "They sound evil enough!" She says.

 

"It doesn't seem like you to have a bloodlust..."
Pause.
"What are you not telling me?"
I ask sweetly and softly.

 

"I'm empowered, if that tells you anything." Stephanie says.

 

"Yes, or anything like that."

 

Elyra goes over to the robe merchant.

 

"Then we'll go there later if you want."

 

Stephanie smiles, wiping her eyes, "Thanks!" She says.

 

"Then yes, I can."

"Hello, miss! Can I help you?"
