Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"She sounds like a great mother then! You're lucky to have such a kind mother." Katie says, a slight sadness in her voice.

 

"Well... we almost never see her."

A colorful cave can be seen a short distance away.
"The reef's here. Want to take a break here?"

 

"I know what that feels like..." Katie says sadly.

Noticing the reef, Katie says, "Yeah, sure!" cheering up.

 

"This is where mother created Kai. He likes to visit this place from time to time."

The coral reef is as vibrant as a garden.

 

"Wow, this looks amazing!" Katie says, switching her legs to a fish tail to swim around the reef faster.

 

The caves are a long, winding maze, but you can easily go through holes in the cavern to get a look from above.
It looks practically untouched.

 

"Alright." I say, going through the portal.

Right before I go through, I tell Thirteen, "Probably"

 

"Elyra. Bartering for supplies."

 

"What do you seek? We can send someone to come to you."

 

Katie swims through the caves happily, laughing. She occasionally stops to look at a few pieces of the scenery, before swimming off again.

 

Aria watches happily from a short distance, staying on Kai.

"Then, let's go, I guess? I'd rather go in when everyone else is ready."
I say to the group.

 

"Thanks." I say. I silently check to see if it's poisoned, while not offending the bartender.

 

"On their mark, I'm jumping."

It's just coffee. The barkeep doesn't notice.
No poison.

 

I slowly drink the coffee. "So, as a foreigner, whats the town like? I've never been this far west before."

 

"I'd say it's pretty tame. We don't have many people living here normally. Most residents are always travelling, so foreign help is always welcome."

 

You find that Terraeis already through the portal.

 

"They made the book here?"

Daras follows through the portal.

"It goes to somewhere which seems to be the Lost Kingdom. There were some ruins in the distance, and I haven't heard of another island with ruins, so I'm sure it is."

 

Daras immediately catches me walking up and down the beach.
"My, I have not seen beaches like these in a while!" I exclaim, clearly thrilled.

 

"Then how would it get out and be unknown? I can't wrap my head around this..."

Ragnyon's spirit floats through the portal, and on the other side, looks for Daras or Terrae.
