I walk over to the one offering the trip to the Lost Kingdom.
"Hail, I request to travel as well."

 

"If you can find a way to reduce the heat they feel, we might be able to get them to be less stressed. That's the only thing I can think of we can't do."

"There are no draconians there. It's irrelevant for your information gathering."

 

"What's wrong with a little sightseeing? It gets a little boring once everything you see is just destroyed land everyday."

 

"Fair point."

 

Aura stops hovering and... curls up around you on air?

"Yes, anyone can come. You can fly or ask Rineth to carry you."

 

"Really? What is it, even?"

"I think we're almost ready."

 

"Actually, if you can provide sufficient information, I can try to open a portal."

 

"Yeah." Stephanie says telepathically.

Stephanie giggles more, gently petting Aura while hugging her.

 

"What's it like having your own shadow empower you?"

 

"Strengthening, helps you focus...it essentially improves you in every way," Stephanie responds happily, "I feel like I can do anything!"

 

I take the doctor out of the city, to where Opal is hiding. When I get there, I say to the doctor, "Could you wait here a minute? I need to tell them something." I walk over to the bush where Opal is hiding. "It's me, Adawalae. I brought a doctor to treat the wound. Are you feeling okay?"

 

"Right..." She takes off the pendant and tries to make it levitate as close to the dragons as possible.

 

"Do you want the god to create a portal to bring us? He says he can try to create one if I show him where it is."

He reaches out telepathically and shows Dominus an image.
The image shows a large map. There is a large continent in the north, with one part sticking out to create a large bay.
Within that bay are some islands. There is an island almost directly in the centre of the bay, marked as 'the Lost Kingdom'. The telepathic link seems to direct Dominus to this island.

Aura purrs gently. She breathes a light wind on Stephanie.

 

Stephanie starts laughing, continuing to pet Aura.

 

Stephanie notices that her scales feel metallic and slightly cold in some places.

 

Stephanie carefully places her hand on one of the cold, metallic areas; gently feeling it.

"Hehe, you're strange." Stephanie comments

 

"Not a problem. Let me know when you want me to come over."


"It's starting to thaw, I can't keep it all frozen. Luckily, anything that's come out has melted off on the outside. It's currently just the cut."

The heat gets to you fast, and it becomes hard to breathe. However, the closer you bring the pendant to the dragons, the calmer they become.

"Where'd you get that? That's... amazing, thank you!"
The other mages are able to work with the dragons and get rider's gear on them.

"If he can make it big enough for me, sure. If he can't, then I can stay behind if you'd like. I don't think I'd fit well on an island."

 

I beckon the doctor to come over. "He may...not be what you expected, but you can still treat him, right? He's a...well...see for yourself." I wait for his reaction to Opal.
