Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Artemis climbs on top of Sgavrinn, as does Katie.

"Thanks, Sgavrinn." Artemis says, gently petting Sgavrinn.

"Oh, when Aj went to help you, right?" Artemis asks, "Well, I'm glad we don't have to face any of those."

 

"Speaking of Aj, where is he? He hasn't come back for a while."
I ask Artemis.

 

"He's in the Realm of Shadows. I hope he's alright...I'm starting to miss him." Artemis says, saddened.

 

"Oh... Well, sorry for bringing it up."
I frown a bit.

 

Sgavrinn sniffs at Katie a bit before nuzzling her gently.

"Also, where'd the Shadow Lady go? Didn't one come out here?"

 

"It's ok...I'm sure he's fine..." Artemis says.

Katie giggles, petting Sgavrinn lightly.

"I'm not sure where Shadow Stephanie went. Maybe she went back to check on Aj." Artemis says.

 

"What do you mean I'm not doing my friend any favors?" I say. "You're sure the poison can be treated, right?"

 

"Okay, tell me when you're ready."

OOC: Where actually are they right now? Darklands or No Mans Land? I'm guessing Darklands but idk.

"Hopefully we won't. There are lots of monsters in the sea between the island and the mainland, but since we're flying, we will probably be fine."
"Actually, I'd forgotten that... Daras, when was the last time you saw a Wind Dragon flying around the Sea of the Lost?"
"I haven't. Maybe something scared it?"
"If it is, it might have been that Drakonshade we saw a while ago."
"A Drakonshade in this world? Wait... show me a memory."
A few seconds pass.
"Nononononono..."
"Would that be the cause?"
"No, it's just that I remember that Drakonshade. It might have sensed me and managed to escape with all the rifts to try to find me."
"Wait, you mean... that Drakonshade was YOURS?!"

 

"Uh, mind if I tag along? You sound like you need some help." Stephanie asks, walking over. Her voice sounds slightly different.

 

"As I said before, anyone can come. If you can't fly somehow, ask Rineth to carry you."

 

"I thought we were all flying on Rineth. I guess more support against a possible enemy isn't a bad thing, though." Stephanie says, smiling.

 

"If we can fly, why not fly ourselves? Flying can be fun, anyways."
I ask Stephanie.

 

"Yeah, best not to burden Rineth." Stephanie says, floating off the ground. Strangely, her hair isn't silver; it almost looks blacker.

 

I float off the ground for a second or two using my rocket feet, then land safely back on the ground.
"Have you drank any of your potions recently?"
I ask her, a bit curious.

 

"No, it's just telekinesis." Stephanie says, raising her hand. You rise off the ground.

"I have a few psychic powers, but telekinesis is my favourite." Stephanie says.

 

I lay down in the air and start trying to roll, while still looking at Stephanie.
"Cool, but I wasn't exactly asking because you rose off the ground. You just seem a bit different."
I continue rolling mid-air.

 

"Do I?" Stephanie asks, laying you down on the ground.

She pauses for a moment, looking slightly distant.

"Well, I feel completely fine!" Stephanie says, smiling.

 

I stand up.
"Well, if you feel fine, then it should be fine."
I smile.

 

"I just thought the others could use some extra help. I'm sure everything will go swimmingly." Stephanie says, winking at Katie. Katie smiles.

 

I chuckle, smiling.
"Well, it's good that you're helping your friends."
