Katie waves.

"I guess I feel a little tired, now that you mention it." Stephanie says, yawning.

 

"I can watch over you, if you're fine with that. Sleep anywhere you like. There's not really any beds around."

 

"The goddess that ruled these lands were assassinated. The region fell to the core with her life. However, neither of us know teleportation magic, so we're making the best of... well... this."

They seem to be running chemicals back and forth.
"Sir, you do have the money to bring one of our doctors out there... right?"

 

"Nah, I should be fine. I can hold out a little longer." Stephanie says, smiling.

 

"Alright. Whatever you think."
I smile.

 

"Don't mention sleep too much, lest Ihra takes you up on the word..." Rineth mutters telepathically.

 

Stephanie smiles back with a wide smile.

"Oh yeah, sorry, heh." Stephanie responds.

 

"Well, I'm going to go check on the others. See you around!"
I say cheerfully, then walk towards the rest of the group.

I arrive near the group.
"Hey. What's up?"
I say to no one in particular.

 

"A lot of nothing, I think."

 

"Oh. Well then."
I frown a bit.
"How are you?"
I ask whoever answered me.

 

Ihra yawns and stretches.
"Watching a god write stuff is kind of boring."

 

"I could imagine. When's the last time you had something to eat?"
I ask Ihra.

 

"When I went into the Shadow Realm, I was given a jar with infinite honey. I don't know how it works, but I'm not complaining."

 

"I can't believe I'm doing this, but since you seem to be serving Mistress, and anyone like them seems to be either against her or just trying to quietly eliminate you without her noticing, then I'm trying to block them out. They were already having trouble tracing you for some reason. They said they were part of 'the Hive'. Care to explain this to me?"

Daras walks up to Ihra.
"I'm sorry I didn't exactly appear very well when I first saw this group. I heard you like plants though. Do you want to see an overgrown forest surrounding a magical lake?"

 

"Hm. Nice."
I say, and smile.

 

"I don't serve her, but I suppose we share a common enemy. The Hive is a corrupted hive mind lead by the so-called Hive Master. Somehow, he's also got control over Xlentia, and he seems to be trying to end the draconian homeworld."

"Sounds better than this. I think Ragnyon and Ruby will be fine. I'd love to look."

 

Artemis walks over, "Can I come? I couldn't help but overhear, and it sounds really interesting." She asks.

 

"Do you want any?"

 

"No thank you. I'm fine."
I smile again.

 

"Gods can be killed? I mean... I can help you get out of here, if you help me."
