Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Ok, but be careful. She's immune to the effects of pressure, so she might be deep." Stephanie says.

You feel some of your life starting to drain away, and you wither slightly. Myria glares at you.

 

"Me apologizing to those scum would be me accepting defeat. I will never accept defeat so long as I they don't get what they deserve. They destroyed me, and yet they think I'm in the wrong. I spit on their logic."

 

"Alright. I should be fine, but I'm not going to suicide."
I then leave the group, and walk over to the pool.

When I get over to the pool, I stand at the edge and put the goggles on, looking down in the pool once more for the cave extension.

 

"Do you feel no guilt for bringing Katie to tears? If you don't apologise, you won't see the light of day ever again." Myria says sternly.

You feel something take complete control of you; all you can do is watch through your own eyes, "Yes. I will apologise. I feel bad about hurting Katie." You say, before you feel the control leave. Myria smirks at you.

The tunnel seems to be in the very middle of the pool. It's only just big enough for you to fit in.

 

"I feel no guilt, for they have destroyed it."
Upon the control leaving, FH says, "I do not feel bad about hurting Katie. I am only returning the favor of what her group did to me, minus a hundred times, and I shall not apologize for such a thing."

It seems he's oddly calm about this and not exploding.

 

I then back up, get a running start, and dive into the pool.

I let the dive sink me down, then I start swimming for the tunnel.

When I get to the tunnel, I try fitting in, and progressing.

 

"Very well. I see you're quite adamant about your choice." Myria says. You black out, and your life drains incredibly quickly.

You manage to fit into the tunnel, though it's incredibly dark. The deeper you go, the stronger the pressure becomes. You see a slight light at the bottom, however.

 

"What are you doing to that flower, Miss Myria? Is it threatening you? Is it carnivorous?" I ask, walking over.

 

I notice the changes in pressure, but I keep going on.

I go towards the slight light.

 

"It's been infected by a disease that's been slowly killing it. I'm just doing the humane thing and destroying it before it can spread the disease to any other plant life." Myria says, pulling the withered flower out of the ground. She tears it apart and walks over to Abigail, "Abigail, could you please burn this diseased flower? I don't want it infecting other plant life."

"Oh, sure thing." Abigail says, taking FH's remains, which immediately burst into flames as soon as she touches them. All that's left is ash, which trickles from her hands.

"Thank you, Abigail. I'm glad Artemis has made such trustworthy friends." Myria says, smiling.

The light turns out to be a few bioluminescent jellyfish. They seem to light up four other tunnels leading from the bottom of the tunnel.

 

"Ah, I am most certainly glad that you know what is best for the poor thing. May I please have its ashes? I would like to study it's remains for this disease. It myth prove life threatening to my kingdom's valuable crops."

 

I drop down near the tunnels, looking in every tunnel to see if there's a difference in any of them.

 

"I doubt you could find anything in it. I used my powers to kill off the disease with the flower, burning was just a precaution should anything have survived, which I doubt." Myria says.

Abigail hands you what's left of the ashes.

"Do you not have Forest or Death Guardians in your kingdom?" Myria asks.

They all appear to be the same. Scratches along their walls make them look like they were carved out, however.

A small, blue light dashes down one of the tunnels, leaving a small trail of bubbles in its wake.

 

"Unfortunately, no. However, I have heard stories of such." I summon a small pouch and place the ashes inside and desummon the pouch.

 

I follow the small blue light, thinking it might lead to Katie.

 

"I see you've mastered pocket-dimensional storage," Myria comments, "You might want to talk to the sorceress, Stephanie. She knows quite a lot about such magic."

The light darts through a maze of tunnels, turning left, then right, then going forward, then right again. It's incredibly hard to keep up with.

 

"Mhm. And what does this Stephanie look like?"

 

"She's the cloaked girl with the black hair, dark purple at the ends." Myria says, pointing to Stephanie.

The light stops, seeming to have noticed you. A wall of ice forms, separating you and the light.

 

A labyrinth in her own safe space? Wow.
I think, trying to keep up with the light.

 

"I see. Thank you."
