Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

They're incredibly light, yet balanced. They seem to be the perfect weight for swinging around and seriously hurting someone.

 

Q tosses one of the daggers out in front of him, onto the ground, then reaches his hand out towards it.

He turns to Shadow Stephanie.
"How'd you do that thing where it comes back to your hand?"

 

"Only I can do it, they're tied to me in a sense," Shadow Stephanie says, raising her hand slightly. The dagger re-appears in her hand, which she gives to Q, "There you go, sweetie!"

 

Q takes the takes the dagger and shrugs. He then proceeds to whirl around, swinging the daggers wildly.

 

Shadow Stephanie smiles, giggling slightly at Q's crazy movements, "Eaten too much sugar, have we?" Shadow Stephanie asks, giggling.

 

Q sits down, panting and out of breath.

"Just had... *gasp*
extra anger... *pant*
channel...
don't want...
lose focus..."

He lies down on his back and stares at the sky.

 

The daggers disappear from Q's hands, reappearing in Shadow Stephanie's hands. She puts them together, and puts the larger dagger in a sheath on her waist.

Shadow Stephanie looks over Q, "Did you get tired out, sweetie?" She asks.

 

"Only in a sense."
He then pushes off the ground slightly and floats up into the air. He holds his arms out to steady himself, and then he just floats in midair. Shadow Stephanie notices that he's not completely still, he's slowly drifting up and down ever so slightly.

He looks at Shadow Stephanie, now at eye level, and grins.

 

"Daw, well aren't you just a magical little child?" Shadow Stephanie says sweetly, smiling at Q.

 

He winces slightly and falters a bit.

"Do you think you could maybe stop with all the emotional stuff? It's making me torn."

 

"Heh heh, alright, sweetie." Shadow Stephanie says, smiling.

 

He falls to the ground.

Getting back up and dusting himself off, he glares at you as if it was your fault.

 

"Are you alright? Did you hurt yourself?" Shadow Stephanie asks, concerned.

 

He doesn't seem physically hurt, albeit slightly bruised.

He mumbles a bit to himself. "Wasn't prepared" and "go meditate" is all you can make out.
He then starts walking away from the group. (Vaguely in the direction of Terrae, but he doesn't know that)

 

Shadow Stephanie seems slightly concerned, but doesn't follow.

"So...you guys know him?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

"Yeah, Q's uh...special, I guess. I don't really understand him." Stephanie says.

 

Q sits down 50 or so meters away from the group (around the width of an American 'football' field) and meditates.

To those that can see this kind of stuff, Q's life force appears to dim, going from a vibrant orange to a paler orange, and then almost to white. However, his magic seems to inversely increase, and quite rapidly, until even those without any sort of special sight can see the air waver slightly around Q as if there was a lit flame between them.

 

Shadow Stephanie seems a little confused, and Artemis seems concerned.

"What's up with his life?" Artemis asks.

"It's oddly tied to his magic. I would've thought less life wouldn't regenerate magic." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"He's kind of odd. He did ask me for about 9 apples when I was offering everyone some. I don't much understand him."
I add.

 

"Hm. I guess there's a lot to learn about him, then." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"Yeah. Certainly. He might have a relation to Luphyx. I heard him talk about Luphyx in regards to himself once or twice."
