"Very well. Shall I test the shock on you first to see if you shall find it acceptable for your son?"

 

"Just shock him."

 

"As you wish."
I give the boy a very weak electrical shock.

 

Nothing.

 

I give him another electrical shock, slightly increasing the intensity.

 

Still nothing.

 

I give him another electrical shock, again slightly increasing the intensity, but making sure it doesn't reach a point where it can potentially be lethal.

 

This goes on until you reach a potentially lethal level.
Absolutely nothing.

 

I stop, switching to something else. I summon a small blizzard on top of him, and then de-summon it after five seconds.

Still nothing.
"Sir, I don't know who you are, but we tried everything. Cold, heat, shock, magic, medicine... Nothing's worked."

 

"It does not matter if you have tried everything. I have not tried everything." I retort, walking up to the boy, and then proceeding to give him a good, hard slap across the face.

 

You knock some blood out of his mouth.
"Why, you..."

 

"I have not tried everything, yet. Understood?" I say, my voice getting serious.
I start thinking hard, before coming to an idea.
"I shall need a whip."

 

"No! I will not allow you to continue injuring my son!"

 

"If you refuse to provide my needs, then i shall provide myself." I say, getting a spare quill from my bag.
I transform into battle form, and proceed to transform the quill into a whip.

 

"Get out of my house! Stop!!"

 

I ignore her and proceed to whip the air as far as possible from both her and the child, attempting to create a sound loud enough to wake the son up.

 

Nothing.
She tugs desperately at your clothing.

 

I de-summon the whip and morph back into my normal form.
"I have done all that I can think of as of now. If I am to think up of something, I shall return. Or, if you wish, you can visit my kingdom and ask around for a mage or doctor willing to help. However, i will not recommend the latter as it may take a very long journey to get there."
I quickly wipe some sweat from my forehead.
